Elizabeth's Sitting Room

I smile gently and sit down a chair. I marvel a little at the comfort of it and organise my skirts carefully.

I gulp a little and glance down-I do not know of her religion. I should have found out or inquired before.

What can I remember? Her father was a reformer and her mother is french, as is Anne Boleyn in all but actuality. Although she comes from the north -like me- and most of us embrace the old faith.

"I embrace the old faiths,"I finally whisper however I quickly add,"And new."

I sigh in relief,"I believe we are of a same mind, Your Highness,"I whispered.

I grin seeing her reaction. I must admit that I had to pause to admire her. How pretty she was, ethereal and nymph like. I glance at my dress and then to hers, I will try get mine altered to be more like hers.

"As you wish,"I reply,"May I do anything for you?"

I laugh softly as walk over to her, my heels clicking faintly on the cold stone floor. I am deeply flattered but quickly reply,"No, Your Highness, they are far too grand for me. I am unworthy."

Jane shook her head "Beth i told you to call me." she said and she laughed "Nothing is too grand for anybody." she took her crucifix from the box and handed her it before handing her a blue dress.

I buckle my knees a little at the weight of the dress, it is greater quality than I had ever hoped to have. I stroke it softly with my slender hand and smile,"Thank you."

I smile lightly,"I did not like to eat much at home for fear I would grow fat,"I say giggling.

I smile a little and notice a subtle curvature to her belly. I smile in my mind and then glance up,"Thank for my gown and necklace. I'll wear them proudly."

"Only her reputation,"I say softly,"Which indeed varies in the south from the north."

"Some say she is a great beauty and possesses all the qualities that every man and woman could possibly desire,"I reply.

"Other however say she used...dark magic to...provoke The Kings love,"I whisper.

I shrug softly,"I have never met her."

I chuckled and glance down to my tendrils of hair which stopped at my small waist,"If you wish."
