Music Room

Joan Bulmer had some free time and decided to go into music his lifelong passion. She could not this past one day his melodion its preferred instrument and singing. She entered the room and saw Sir Gregory Cromwell and Sir Discussed in Smeaton appears. She bowed to them respectfully and said quietly.

Gentlemen...

I glide across the floor, moving in time to the music. Gracefully twirling and stepping around my imaginary partner....I had to practice for my wedding but it was also for the pure enjoyment of it! I loved dancing! Quietly, I begin to sing along to the music; my voice becoming louder as I grow more confident and lose myself in the enjoyment.
I close my eyes; and imagine dancing with Francis as I move rhythmically and with elegance. It was blissful and I couldn't help but smile as I continued to dance.

Moving around my imaginary partner; I twirl and step with the music...As it ends I curtsey gracefully and then rise. My cheeks flushed and breathing heavily from the dancing, I turn around. Suddenly I see him. Partially embarrassed but also happy; I smile brightly at him.

Laughing as we do, I bob a curtsey and then turn away twirling. Returning to him, I step closer to him. "You're a very good dancer!" I smile brightly "I'll look forward to our wedding dance."

"I saw and of course I will." I say, wrapping my arms around his neck. Smiling lovingly, I look into his eyes "I hope you will like ny Wedding gown...." I gaze into his eyes, desperate to kiss him but restraining myself!

"Good! It is my dearest wish that you like it." I smile brightly at him, pressing my face gently against his palm.

"I will live wherever, as long as we can be together." I smile up at him, gazing into his eyes with love. Our arranged marriage had become a love match. "and I shall always be yours in heart and body."

Hearing him say that made my heart skip..."I love you too..." the words just flowed from me as I rest my head against his chest: still fighting the urge to kiss him.

I close my eyes and sigh. "I don't mind...as long as we together in private." Pressing my lips against his clothed chest: I remember when I saw it bare and it makes my heart skip again.
"I could come to your chamber again tonight...and we could kiss again?" My voice is sweet but longing: hoping we can!

Turning my head away in time to the music, I move rhythmically around him. Extending my hand out towards him.
"You can do...all you have to do is ask." I twirl away as I dance the steps; my hair forming a golden halo around my head.

I twirl once last time and then fall into a curtsey. The music ends with a flourish and then I move towards him. "You are a magnificent dancer." I smile warmly.

I found my way through the maze of corridors of this beautiful Whitehall Palace. To my great joy I found the music room, surprisingly empty this time of evening. Near the window I found a beautifully gilded harp, it's gold and ivory glinting in the late day's light. Seating myself I began to pluck at the instrument I held in my arms, smiling as my old tutelage returned to my mind.

Viola walked through the halls toward the music room. It had been awhile since she played and she really missed that. Upon her entry she found someone already there and smiled apologetically. I'm sorry, my lady. I didn't mean to disturb you.

A woman, graceful-looking with long dark hair, had entered. I looked up and smiled. "No need to apologize, my lady. You didn't disturb me at all." I settled the harp back into place and rose from my seat. "In fact, I wouldn't mind some company just now. I am Amelia von Kleve-Jülich-Berg, duchess of Cleves."

You played very well. Viola said with a genuine smile. A pleasure to meet you, your grace. I'm Viola, Duchess of Lancaster. She noticed Amelia's clothing to be different and accent sounded foreign. Are you new to court? She asked as  she couldn't restrain her curiosity.
