| Geoffrey was ordered to deliver a letter at Eastnor Castle, countess Emilie's residence. It was urgent. Then he sent a messanger at the castle, who left the note in her chambers
My lady De Fontanay, I was ordered by His Grace, the Duke of Suffolk, to bring you a very sad news. Her Highness, Princess Margaret, passed away yesterday, at Whithall Palace. With big pain and sorrow, I was also ordered to invite you at court to attend her Funeral.. Respectfully Your servant Geoffrey Lonshord

| Emilie, laying down a couch while reading a book in early evening, raise her eyes from her book in seeing the messager enter her bedroom she look at him with a intrigued. Once he have leave the room, she get up, put her book aisde and take the note, as she read it and understand what happened, her view blurr as tears flow along her face and she is unable to read the rest of the note.
No ! ... Margaret ! ... my poor dear Margaret !
She return to the couch, put her hands upon her face and let tears flow a long time, then as it dry up slowly, she read again the letter, until the end this time. Shaking her head, she think that this death is reallly injust, that such a strong, clever and young woman shouldn't have death so early and that Charles have surely contribuate to aggrave Margaret's state with his perpetual unfaithfulnness, wondering if he ever have really love her friend. She then think to Margaret's sister, Mary, her friend, how terrible it must be for her too, especially since the two sisters had they had get very close lately, she thinked to invited her here at Eastnor, but finally, it will be here who will go to see her at Whitehall for such a sad and unexpected event, pay a hommage to her dear Margaret with Olympe and her mother too, if she accept to accompagny them.
