The situation of Navarra, is terrible.
The French army already entered our border, I appreciate your help, but your troops would not arrive in time to prevent an invasion in my kingdom.

I already told you in my previous letter that we can not wait for your armies.
Fortunately, my brother in law, the Duke of Aragon, and Maria Enriquez, Duchess of Gandia have sent their armies.

I write to you as I am in a bit of a dilemma. My health is deteriorating at a fast pace it seems and I have no male heirs for my kingdom. My wife Amelia has only given me daughters, leaving me a bit worried. My councillors and I have written up an amendment to the inheritance laws of my realm and have now declared Francesca heiress to my kingdom, which would make you King Consort. I believe that this will be beneficial to Italy as well as Navarre as your kingdom will grow as well as mine. I do hope that this will be agreeable to you and my daughter.

Please do not tell Francesca of my ill health. She has only recently in the last few years to lose her mother and she will be devestated when I am gone.

Your daughter's behavior is terrible.
She has been unfaithful myself with the Duke of Genoa.
She is banished from my kingdom and our marriage annulled by the Pope.

There was fake annulment papers declaring your marriage annulled with my daughter. That's when everything went south with the Duke. My daughter would never intentionally hurt you and her actions, horrible yes, were based on something false. I know that you still love her and she loves you so much as well.
