Your Grace,
I write for the sole purpose of keeping my kingdom, well....mine. I never have nor ever will have the intentions of attacking your Duchy. I have no need of Genoa. If possible, I would like to form an alliance and together, we can protect Italy from the French.

My Lord,
It seems that your niece has different ideas, though now she knows not to invade Genoa as we are a strong independent country. An alliance, please do tell me more.. I do too wish to keep them French bastards at bay.

Your Grace,
We would pledge arms and money for each other in a time of need. If any lands are conquered, we shall split them up. If you are all for an alliance, then come to Tuscany at your earliest convenience and we shall both sign an agreement.
Furthermore, I plan on speaking to my neice and nephew in law, the King and Queen of Naples, to seenif they will join in the effort.
