I am sitting in my bedroom enjoying a good book relaxing at the end of a long day. I stop and put it down as I walk over to the fireplace and stair into it. I am wondering how my children are doing . I have 3 daughter's at court as ladies-in-waiting. I pray they are well and safe. I also think of my sons. Thomas who is serious and Edward the protector of his sisters. I would love to have a visit with any of them.

I entered my husbands chambers before he did and sat at my vanity brushing my hair wondering what was wrong with Elizabeth. I smiled up at john as he entered the room. What was wrong with elizabeth earlier you both seemed deep in conversation

My dearest wife, it would seem our daughter is in love with a Count from Russia. I know little of him and she told me if she couldnt not have him she would rather go to a nunnery!

I looked at my husband and frowned. And what if this Count breaks her heart, if he starts to get bored with her and wants another lady for the taking I feel as if it is my duty as her mother to see who this man is I am her mother.

I was at Wulfhall in my bedchamber and I receive a letter from my daughter Dorothy that she was coming to visit so I prepare to greet her when she arrives and I leave my chamber door open so she could just walk straight in. I was looking forward to the meeting as it had been too long since I had last since my dear daughter and was looking forward to catching up with her.

"PaPa"  Dorothy shouts for the Seymour Patriarch as she enters the threshold. She is told of his whereabouts and goes straight upstairs. The door happened to be open when she enters
