I heard from one of the servants that my darling wife Elizabeth had returned to court. I went to her chambers to see if this was true. 'Elizabeth, are you there, it's Nicholas' I said after knocking at her door.

Elizabeth looked up from her book and smiled brightly when she heard that it was her husband.
"Nicholas, my darling, come in!"

I smile when I hear my beloved Elizabeth's voice and enter her room with a big smile for her. 'Sweetheart, I can't tell you how happy I am to see you and how much I have missed you' I sat down next to my wife and took her hand and kissed it. 'I'm sure I won't be the only one happy to see you back at court, so how is my own heart and our dear children, all good I hope'

Elizabeth watched him with a bright smile.
"I have missed you too. So much."
She said and tilted her head slightly to the side when he kissed her hand.
"We're all very well. They just miss you, as much as I miss you. Tell me, how are you? How has life at court been?"

I smile at my Elizabeth when she says she has missed me. It was good to see her and I did enjoy her company and friendship. 'You know I am at my happiest when I am in the blossom of my dearest family. I am well, better now I have you here with me at court. Court is a busy place as it always is. The king is fine, sadly still love sick over the Lady Anne' My wife are I were both close to the King and his wife Queen Catherine, and still even now tried our best to still be good friends to both.
