Katerine Tudor's Bedroom

I rise, my nerves filling me. It was a momentous day...my future waiting for me.
My ladies flurry around me, preparing me for my wedding. The gown had been made weeks ago and floated around me; golden and glittering like sunbeams. My hair was arranged to tumble down my back, twisting and curling with a diamond circlet crowning my head...but my skin was pale.
I gaze at myself in the mirror; this vision of shining and icy beauty. I wonder what my parents would have thought; if they would have approved of my groom.
Sighing, I put such thoughts aside. I didn't want tears to fall on this special day...on my special day.

"Charles reached Katherine's room and stopped in front of her door. It was her wedding day and she probably felt very nervous. But he promised to accompany her until the altar, like he did with Margaret in Portugal. He couldn't miss this occasion. Then he took a breath and knocked, wondering if she was already dressed"

Katherine...may I come in?

I held open the door for Charles this was servants work

'I am not going to be running around like a servant Charles she asked for me!

"Charles rushed into room with Katherine in his arms. He placed her slowly on bed and looked at Mary"

You shouldn't do efforts, Mary. Come and sit next to her. I have the feeling that she needs you. I...I'm going to look for a physician, or Royce. Or maybe the Prince Francis himself. Take care of her. I'll be back as soon as possible...

"He looked meaningfully at Mary and then he ran out of the room looking for someone to help"

"Mary...." Distraught and sobbing; I embrace my sister once again. I needed her love and support....

I got in besides my sister and placed her in my arms

'Oh sweetheart what is the matter here place your hand on my stomach and you might feel it move'

Cuddling up to her, I attempt not to cry but to no avail. "Francis was with another woman and I overhead some of their conversation!" Sobbing once again, I rest my hand on her belly.

I started to grow angry

'Royce kissed another woman and I am carrying his child no marriage is perfect. You have to live with it or tell our brother now can I please go and be with my husband'

I called for Charles name angry

'you have put my baby at a great risk of stress'

I look at her with dismay and climb from mt bed. "I'm your sister...and you think I would try to harm your child on purpose??" My distress grows. "The nuns were right: this family never wanted me! My brother sells me and you...you say such a thing!" I try to catch my breath but can't..."Go...go and be happy!" Barefoot and wearing merely my dress I leave my bedroom and wonder through the corridors aimlessly.

I look at him and then turn away..."Yes, my lord?" My tone is cold.

"I'm sorry Mary...I'm not feeling myself and I apologise for what I said..." I smile faintly as I turn to her "Go and be with Royce...Stay safe!"
I look over at my husband. "This is between us. "

"I heard you say it was hard to be faithful to me...to this 'Elena'!" I look at him; trying desperately not to melt into his arms and forgive him easily! It was testing but I continued to try.
"What did you mean by that?" Looking straight into his eyes. "And what does this Lady Elena wish?"

I look unconvinced. "Francis...I am confused! You said such a thing..." Looking down, I sigh...
"I want our marriage to work Francis...I truly do..." I look at him and mellow.

Well I am confused as well Katherine. I walk away from her, staring out the window. How do you think I felt when I saw you walk off with a notorious philanderer from the Summer Feast? He only wants one thing from you but you seem too blind to see it. I turn around, Has he touched you, kissed you, anything and I would love some honesty! I have been honest with you and always will be. I want our marriage to work and it will as long as you and I stick together and allow no one to come between us.

I look down and move to sit down. "His Grace has kissed me...only once!"

I assist my ladies in the packing preparing to leave for my husbands Kingdom. Folding gowns and arranging materials into different trunks; I hurry to make sure everything was ready for our departure. Catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror, I smile brightly and feel like I am glowing. My happiness was impossible to hide...I desperately wanted to be a loving wife to Francis and a good mother to our unborn child.
Blinking away from the mirror, I return to the packing.

Geoffrey reached Lady Katherine's room after leaving the Chapel. He opened the door leading her inside gently. She looked still very pale and agitated

Are you alright, Your Highness? Please, sit down. You need a glass of water..

He accompained her until the sofa and looked around to find some water in the room. He found it on the table

Don't worry..the King and Lady Anne are fine too. I'm sorry you had to attend to this and that you got so scared..

He said while pouring some water for her
