Jane walked the long hallways, she didn't know yet if her Majesty the Queen was to come to court, as far as she knew, it would anger the king to ask him. She would like to take her chances to, she tapped lightly on his majesty bedroom door, and as soon as she was announced by one of the servants she walked in and curtsied very lowly 'Majesty' She whispered and her voice was a little shaky, of course, she was nervous. She got back up again and looked at the King 'I dont mean to be so..rude..but..Does his majesty know if..Her majesty...the Queen is coming to Whitehall? I should have liked to know...if i am in service this summer' She sad as her voice got a little shaky in some places, she clutched her hands at the front of her dress and played with the hems of her sleeves.

The Queen is here, indeed. She... just refuses to attend Trial's audience. But she is still here. You should be announced into her chambers, my lady...

He rolled his eyes, but he noticed she was rather pretty and smiled

Jane froze on the spot a little and went in 'My..name...' She stuttered a little on those two words before clearing her throat, 'My name is Jane Bassett, your majesty' She said with a low curtsy. She was lucky that she wasn't wearing one of her ordinary dresses today and her lady in waiting dress that covered all the cleavage she stood up and nodded.

Jane gulped a little and looked at his Majesty, she really didn't want to say how..but she knew he would hear it from around court 'Well..my Mother..was a mistress to your father..' She said and she looked down 'A mistress for a very long time...' She added with a smile.

Henry opened his eyes wide after her sentence. Her mother...a mistress of his father? A sudden thought came into his mind. What if she was...his sister? He tried to hide this shocking thought and tried to smile

Oh...I didn't know that. I was a child that time...I suppose. And...is your mother at court too, my lady?

He asked curiously, trying to understand more

Jane looked at Henry with a confused expression she thought for a moment she shook her head 'My mother had me whilst she was in France, before she died, she sent word to your father asking him to make..me Katherine's lady in waiting..as for i was a young age when she died, and as for my father.. he was..no use either, he died aswell in France when i was fourteen' She said with a smile.

Jane laughed a little and smiled 'Why thankyou, Your Majesty' She said with a kind smile, her eyes glimmering as if there was firelight dancing inside them. She blinked a couple of times before looking about and back at Henry 'I have to say... before i came here, i always thought Francis was the most handsome king in Europe..but i now think my mind has been changed about that' She said with a cheeky smile.
