Indeed, I was thinking that you seem full of life for a vampire.

In my case, it's just because it's the traditional bavarian education for noble girls, it seem to have never evoluate ... but well, I accept it, because I know that my parents are benelovents towards me and do what they think to be the better for me.

"Of course, Anne. They want the best for you. I heard...about your possible engagement with the Duke of Lorraine's son. Is it true?"

She asked, covering her eyes with her hand to protect them from sunlight

Anne follow her until the bench and sat by her side, cross her litte foots and swing slowly her thin legs under the seat and she nodd.

I know, it's why I always obey them, even when I would like to act otherwise.

She blush and look at her laps, feeling a bit embarrassed and worried in thinking to this possibility of marriage, that happen much earlier than she thinked, playing with her fingers nervously.

Yes ... it's true, my father and mother told me recently about it ...

Anne rise her eyes and look at her with a intense and meaning look, Inge should know her enough well for know that she can't be pleased by this possible marriage, she sigh.

Anne is rather surprised by this question, it's seem that Inge don't know her as well as she thinked, she look at her with a grave and toughtful air a moment before to answer, then she shake her head.

I don't want to get married, especially not seen the age I have, and about the duke's son, I awaite nothing from him, I think that he wouldn't have any interest in me. And for tell everything, I can see what this marriage can bring to my parents, but I don't see what it could bring to me ...

Anne look at her with a spectical air, because the young boy hadn't make her a good impression, then she nodd after her question.

Yes, when the duke have come to visit my father, a few week ago, he have take his son with him and my father have take me with him to join them, we have take diner together.

As she recall of this rather unpleasant encounter, she frown, her face taking a sullen air.

Anne, still frowning, sigh and answer her with temper, the air irk.

No ! he hadn't even pretend to show me any interest nor talk to me at all and the worse is that I have distinctly hear him whisper to his father "she is so little ! she don't even have got breaths !" who do he think he is ? he is a boor and he isn't even taller than me ! I woud prefer to marry his father or even a dog or a doll in wood instead of him !

Then, recalling of Inge suggestion, she shake her head and add.

No, nobody care of my opinion, they seem to have yet take their decision.

Anne's face get a sullen air as Inge giggle, but after a while, she realize that what the duke's son told is really stupid and more silly than nasty and she shrugg.

This boy is so silly ! I don't think I could love him some day.

She sigh and add.

Why all the boys are so silly and get interest only in girls with big breaths and little brain ? how many years it will take to him for get more intelligent ? ... if ever some day he become intelligent ! because I doubt heavely of it !

In fact, I think that they don't believe that a woman can be clever at all ... weither she is beautiful or not.

She shrugg, thinking that among all the men of world, only her father and her brother worth her respect, interest and love.

About my father and brother, it's true ... but I think that men like them are very rares ... and I don't think that the duke's son will become a man of this kind, unfortunately, seen how he behave now.

She look at the garden, a dreamy air on her face, escaping in her very own universe full of tales, adventures and mysterious characters, for forget some annoying realities of her life and her worrying about the future.

I doubt of it, great men are rares and if I encounter one, he will not get interested in me because I am not beautiful and he will not see my interior beauty because men see only appareances. Anyway, it's seem that I am to be fianced to this duke and so to marry him some day.

Nobody before you ever told me "you are beautiful" and nobody have ever show interest in me in a amourous way and myself I don't find me pretty and I doubt that growing up will make me prettier.
