The Royal wedding of Prince Francis and Princess Katherine

White and red rose petals rain down upon me as I make my way to the chapel doors. My gown and ermine cloak trail behind me. The nerves bubble in my stomach; crawling through my body until my hands are trembling. This was a state occasion, my wedding was an alliance between kingdoms and all this only added to my nerves.
The trumpets blare as I begin to process towards the altar...and my betrothed.

I stand at the altar with the priest nervously fiddling with my fingers as I await my beautiful bride. Trumpets sound, doors fly open and there she is, my beautiful Katherine walking towards me. My smile is big and my heart beats fast knowing that we are so close to being together forever.

Reaching the altar, I smile warmly at Francis; desperately trying to hide my nerves. I curtsey to Turning my head to face the priest...I knew I was ready; I longed to be with Francis.

"Charles reached his place in the Chapel after having ecorted Katherine until the altar. He smiled kindly at the Prince and kissed softly her hand. Then he sat at his place waiting patiently for the King"

I gently take Katherine 's hands and caress them as we await the arrival of the King. I cannot help but to keep glancing at her.

I smile faintly as he takes my hand. Sighing, my patience begins to thin slightly as we wait for my brother...Henry had to be present for his great alliances completion. I look at my husband from under my eyelashes; my smile brightening as I do...He was so handsome and charming, kind and gallant; all I could ever wish in my husband.

I sit myself next to Brandon.

'The last time you escorted my sister to a wedding you married her. Tell me how does married life suit you? Is Victoria coming.'

I saved a seat for Royce for me this was going to be delightful I wondered if Brandon knew about their late night rendezvous

"Charles smiled as Mary talked to him"

Well...this time is different. Being already married, there is no danger I could marry Katherine...

"He whispered into her ear"

Hope Victoria will reach us. And I just realize I never congratulate with you for your upcoming baby...

I smiled amused.

'I keep forgetting you are married Charles and I mean no disrespect to lady Brandon of course but look at Katherine she is a beautiful rose I hope he treats her well.'

I frowned when he mentioned my pregnancy.

'I feel like I am carrying the crown jewels anyway only my sister knows how I feel when Katherines day is other we need to chat I consider you as my brother

Inigo came back from Bavaria to join the wedding ceremony. As representative of Emperor Charles, he couldn't miss the union between the navarrese Prince with King's sister. Although, he sat far from royal family and waited quietely the ceremony to start

"Charles stood up as the King entered. He smiled brotherly at him as he patted his shoulder. This meant a lot to him. This meant he was still considered a member of his family. He turned towards Royce smiling kindly"

Your Grace...finally I have the privilege to meet you. Mary talked me a lot about you. Congratulations for your child...

"He whispered again"

I kneel before the altar as the priest bows to my brother. Holding my head high as I was always trained to, I look forward at the Priest...I still stole a few glances at Francis as the ceremony began.
"Katherine Tudor, Princess of England do you take Francis d'Albret, Prince of Navarre as your husband."
Glancing at him one more time, I turned and proudly spoke my answer "I accept."

I kneel down next to Katherine and make the sign of the cross as the priest starts the ceremony. I cannot stop bglancing over at Katherine and love beams from my eyes. "Do you Francis d'Albret, Prince of Navarre, take the Princess Katherine of England, to be your wife? " and with a smile, I say, "I do."

The priest makes the sign of the cross and bides our hands in velvet cloth "Whom Gid as joined, let no man break asunder."
I smile at my husband...that word: husband...I was wed and no longer my brother's property.
But I can't take my eyes off my husband.

We are now husband and wife, bound together for the rest of our lives! I glance over to her and my eyes never leave her. The priest speaks one last time as Katherine and I stand up with our hands still joined, "The Prince and Princess of Navarre! " I smile ams lean in and kiss Katherine softly.

Smiling at my sister whispering I turned my head:

'You see Brandon you and Royce have alot in common you are both dukes and he is very fond of you're daughter aswell. I pray Katherine has a happy marriage with a husband who loves her'

"Charles frowned as she mentioned Victoria in connection with Royce. He glanced fastly at him"

Ah...really? I didn't even know that they knew each other. I'm...glad...

"He whispered confused, still keeping his eyes on the altar"

I can't stop smiling at Francis...my husband! The joy is written across my face. "My handsome husband." I whisper softly kissing him again quickly.

"My beautiful wife. " I say as I gently kiss her lips once more. I wrap my arm with hers as we make our way down the aisle as husband and wife.

I smile as I pass the guests and courtiers assembled. My gown trailing behind as my new husband and I process out.
"I will I move into your chambers now...darling?"

"Charles stood up as the priest declared them husband and wife and bowed at them. He smiled meaningfully at Katherine winking at her"

I smile as we pass Charles and my sister. My happiness is impossible to hide and I feel like I'm glowing with it.

"Yes, have your ladies bring your belongings to my chambers tomorrow for tonight is just going to be you and me professing our love over and over." I blush and we finally leave the chapel and to the reception.
