The foggy lake

Margaret nodded not wanting to stir any feelings for her.

'Yes I love to write I am so glad that I havr met someone who likes writing too I am in hopes that I will get to meet Thomas Wyatt as I hear he is a great poet but I do not wish too upset my farther'

Her eyes sparkled with joy and amazement as she listened Margaret, absorbing every word. I like to write but honesty I am not very good at it. She smiled thoughtfully and stared down at lake. I've heard of him and how great poet he's. Why he'd be upset? She asked with curiosity.

It was so nice and refreshing to meet someone who enjoyed the arts unlike the other women at court.

'Apart of me would like to see if he is a dashing handsome man but they say that he had an affair with the kings new love Anne Boleyn. My farther is Thomas More but he is said to be going away soon and I do eagerly want too meet this Thomas. '

Viola giggled softly at her words, happy to have met this young lady and she really enjoyed in her company. If that is a case, then you should probably wait until your father is away. She said with bright smile and teasing voice. I've heard of those rumors but I don't believe in them. The rumor is just a rumor and nothing more.

'I find someone actions are speak volumes rather than words a rumour gets more words added on too them.'

Margaret giggled and looked out to the local air

'Yes i think i shall i wonder if he will appear '

I totally agree with that. She smiled at Margaret. Of course he'll. Why he would not?

Margaret blushed she had never spoken of any man before

'Oh I don't know Viola I have never held a conversation with a man that i've liked before I hope to not make a fool of myself'

Viola remembered her first meeting with a man and how nervous she felt. It was one of many suitors her aunt wanted her to meet. She frowned at that memory and  thought for a moment before she said. Just be yourself and everything shall be fine. She said with a kind voice.

Margaret frowned trying to get her words out

'Viola do you think that any of us have the luxury of marrying for love'

Viola sighed and shook her head slightly. No... But sometimes I try to believe that there's a hope we'll marry from love.

Margaret patted her hand in a kind gesture.

'I am going to go too the Christmas party Viola I do hope you will come you are a very classy lady and who knows who will be their! It's a chance for us both to meet new people. You're prince charming could be their Viola'

Viola smiled at her kind gesture. I cannot miss and not to attend at such glorious party. She said. I think I already met my prince charming. As soon as she said those words her cheeks become rosier than they usually are.

Margaret could tell Viola was blushing without having to look.

'Then that is a good thing is it not. Maybe he will accompany you to the ball. Is your mind occupied with thoughts none other than him'

It's... or I think. She said and paused for a moment. I'm not sure if he feels the same way as I. Viola confessed. He's constantly on my mind... I never felt like this and not know what to do.

Margaret had never experienced the feelings Viola had and she tried to think of what she would do in her position.

'I would write him a letter and hint the next time you saw him about how much he was on you're mind but in a way like "Oh I have missed your company" and so forth am I being much help'

Viola smiled to Margaret. You're a great help to me and I shall follow your advice.

'I am glad to hear that. My farther has asked me to visit Princess Mary but I don't know how I can bring someone comfort when they do not even know where they stand with their own Farther the king'

Margaret told Viola smiling nervously

Viola looked at Margaret and sighed sadly. Just your visit would bring her solace, at least she'd know she isn't totally alone.

'What am I suspose to do or say if I go it will be my head on the block their is a reason she isn't allowed visitors. Oh for a simple life and if only their was a living male heir things would be different'

She squeezed Margaret's hand gently. You're right. You shouldn't go. If King thinks it's the best for princess to be alone, then we must obey. She said, then sighed. Indeed everything would be easier and different if there's a male heir on the throne.

Margaret smiled slightly

'Things at court have changed and I am scared to leave my Farther incase he does something to make him fall out with the King even more. I am very much a daddies girl I love my Farther '

Viola smiled to Margaret. She grew up without a father and she didn't know how is it to be fathers girl. I'm sure he'll not. From what I've heard of your father is that he's a very wise man and he's Kings good friend. That must mean something.

Margaret sensed some sadness on Viola face

'Are you ok Viola I hope not to of upset you it's just you look very reflective in thought'

Viola smiled, however, nodded at the Margaret, and said, Oh, no not at all. I just thought how lucky you're to have a father by your side.

Margaret shifted about and turned to Viola

'My Farther is my life my mother died and he is all I have left I do hope you have some family if not my Farther is always taking on new children you can join ours

Margaret said with a cheerful smile
