"Yes, I think that Anne will be happy with him," she said sincerely. "I also like the king very much and I hope that when we will go to court to visit Anne, we'll see him." She laughed merrily.

"I cannot wait to see him and Anne together. They must be such a handsome couple and the children they will make surely will be beautiful." Speaking of children Mary blushed thinking of Francis and how much she would love to make children with him.

"I believe that they are a wonderful couple. I look forward that they will have children. I believe they will have most amazing children on the world." When they spoke about children, Jenny smiled. She wanted children, but unfortunately didn't have a husband. She believed that soon will find man and fulfill her dream of having a big family.

"We should go for a walk or I will keep talking about Francis. I dare not tell you more, you will think I have lost all my morals." Mary confessed then grabbed Jenny's hands to pull her to walk among the flowers with her.

Jenny went with Mary among the flowers. "If you want to talk about Francis, you can say more about him. I'm a bit curious, what man stole the heart of my cousin​​," she said with a smile.

"Well he came into my room by accident one of my first days at court. I was reading a book and then in my doorway appeared the most handsome man I had ever seen but when he said his name I nearly died, I knew his name and his reputation but when I told him that he did not seem too surprised but I gave him a chance and to me he has only been a true gentleman." Mary gushed and then blushed, "He even asked before he kissed me the first time."

Jenny smiled and seemed it to her so romantic. "Oh, Mary, this is so beautiful and romantic. Of this side no one knows him. Now I believe that he is a normal person. I hope that it soon will I be able to meet him." Then gently grabbed her wrist as a friendly gesture. "I'm so happy for you."

"I do not think he feels the same way about me but I am just one of many ladies vying for his attention. I shall just spend as much time with him as I can but do not tell cousin Anne. I fear she would make me stay away from him for fear of scandal." Mary said then grinned again. "I feel so happy right now. Pinch so I shall know its not all just a dream."

She watched the path ahead and listened attentively. "I think that every handsome man have some votress. This is the same everywhere. Don't worry Mary, your secret is now also my secret and everything you've just said, it will just between us." She laughed heartily. "It's not a dream, because it's all so beautiful."

"Jenny there is more but you cannot tell a soul. I love him and I...." Mary stopped and looked around then leaned in close to her, her face grew serious and she whispered, "I let him be my first."

Jenny's eyes widened. "Really?" she asked quietly. But then she smiled and winked at Mary. "But I perfectly understand you. I think that I would have done the same. If you love him, why not let him be the first? Tell me, what was it?" Jenny was a little curious.

"Yes really." Mary whispered then her face grew dreamy as she remembered that night, the first kisses and touches.....she grinned widely at her cousin. "It was the best night of my life and I admit proudly I gave myself to him willingly."

Jenny noticed the expression on her face. Mary had to be really happy. Jenny asked quietly. "It hurt a lot? I'm so sorry for curiosity, but you know me ..." She smiled brightly. "Oh, Mary, you're really in love. I see it in your eyes."

"It did hurt at first but then something happened and it did not anymore." Mary closed her eyes remembering that moment then opened them not trying to hide the smile thinking of him always brought to her. "Yes I am in love with him but I do not think he loves me. I wish that he would say he did but I shall not force it. I know he cares about me and that is enough for me."

Jenny nodded and still listened. Mary looked happy as she smiled sweetly. But unfortunately her love wasn't reciprocated. "That's a shame. Maybe everything will different. But most men have several mistresses which don't love. But I believe that you will find your prince charming. Maybe it will Sir Francis." She smiled.

"I would be happy my entire life just being with him." Mary sighed then thought of something that made her frown for a moment. She pushed that thought away and looked towards Jenny, "so tell me what you have been up to."

"I hope it will like this. And if not, you will find another man, maybe better."Jenny smiled and looked around. She wondered what she said about herself. She hadn't news. She looked at Mary and she frowned. Jenny asked curiously. "I hope everything is okay?" She paused and began to talk quietly. "I don't have any news. France was beautiful, but I missed home. I didn't found husband there and I hope that I find him here."

"I have not heard any news but I know this, Jenny I do not want a husband as long as Francis wants me. I want him and only him. He might be my ruin but he has shown me what true love is and now I have found it I refuse to give him up. If Uncle asks you about me we never had this talk." Mary pleaded her, "please promise me."

"I understand you very well. While you have Francis, you won't look for another man. Oh, Mary, I'm so glad that you're happy with him. It's so romantic and many girls dream about similar love." She smiled. "Me too. And as for uncle, from me will know nothing. I promise you that your secret is now also my secret. And this promise I will honor and respect. I like you very much and I don't want to hurt you." She winked at her. "You can trust me."

"Thank you cousin." Mary hugged her tightly then looked at her, "you are right that while I am with him I will seek no other. God help me that Uncle does not suddenly try to betroth me to another. I do not know what would happen."

Jenny hugged her back and was very happy. "I will pray with you. I also don't want that uncle picked my husband. I want to find him myself. Fortunately the uncle have many other worries and completely forgot to us. I think that he didn't tried to look for fiances for us yet."

"I do not think he has started to look either but if he knew I was near Francis I think he would be furious with me. He only looks for matches for us that can give the family money or glory. I want to marry a man whom I love, who loves me." Mary winked at her cousin, "perhaps we can make our own matches."

Jenny nodded in agreement. Mary was right. "I think the uncle doesn't detect anything. I think that Francis will be discreet too. And I agree with you. I will take a man whom I love." Jenny laughed. "That sounds like a plan."

"Discretion might be the key. I just hope to be allowed to marry a man I love and not one older than I that is picked by Uncle." Mary made a face then laughed, "I would not be a very good wife to such a man."

Jenny frowned. "I can't imagine that I should marry an old man. I agree with you." She sighed. "I'd have to find a young lover." She laughed.
