Edward Plantagenet Chamber

My Ladies had made me aware of my cousin's arrival at court and I had come straight to his chambers. Stood outside, I now felt doubt creep into my mind....Was it right to see him? How would I react?
Swallowing back my fears, I knock and wait. Wait, for his response.

Busying myself with books and writing letters whilst clearing out my signature ring I could hear the shuffling of foot steps outside my door hastily I stood to my feet. Opening the door I felt all the blood drain from me leaving me cold it was my sweet Katherine instinctively I pulled her into my embrace grabbing gently her blonde locks.

My sweet Katherine you have returned to me.. I mean court for how long will you stay

Embracing him closely, I wrap my arms around his neck and press against him. "Edward!" I sigh in relief...elated to see him but also fearful. "It's really you? You're really here?" I release him from my arms and step back. "Does Henry know you're here?"

The King is very busy as you know but he is always informed of the arrivals of court would you like to come in?

I wondered what bothered her and what was so evidently playing on her mind did she really fear Henry.

I nod slightly, with a smile warm for my beloved cousin. "Yes please."
Stepping inside, I look at him; running my eyes up and down, taking him all in...It had been years since I had seen him.
"You look well..."

I gently lead her into my chamber kissing her hand as I lead her to a chair.

As do you! You resemble an image of an angel your company has been missed Ah! I notice that you are married does you're husband treat you with respect and humility.

I always thought that she would never marry but alas it seems that she had and I had not been around present in her life when she had.

"My Husband and I are currently separated....He is ruling in Navarre and I am here, with our daughter."
I look down, with a little sigh as I take a seat. "And you? No wife to present at court?"

I wondered why they were living in opposite countries when they are man and wife the troubles of being a royal.

You do not seem to be living a happy married life has he even met his daughter yet. I have a feeling he shall come crawling back begging for forgiveness.

I was of royal blood and sure their were many whom wanted to marry their daughters of to me but I was still holding out to find this one true love many spoke about I shook my head at her answer.
