| Dear Geoffrey,
I have arrived in Scotland and so far to say I do not like it here. I arrived in the chapel and it was as cold as ice the atmosphere I mean but keep that between you and I. The weather is the same as England only that bit colder and windy as well my hair was such a mess I looked like I had been dragged in a bush backwards and yes you may laugh at that. But tell me how did things go with Kate I wish I could be their to celebrate with you instead I am stuck here with Catholics no offence. I shall not forget the ribbon.
Write to me my dear friend Katherina.

| My dear Lady Katherina, I'm glad to hear that you arrived safely in Scotland. I'm sorry that you feel coldness around you, but there are only few days, and then you'll be back at home. Honestly, I can't imagine you with messy hairs, cause you're always beautiful. But I really like your sense of humor. Perhaps you should use it while you're in Scotland to make your journey there more pleasant. Things between Kate and me are going very well. I'm going to gave her the ring and to ask her to marry me. I'm so excited but also scared. Wish me good luck
With all my affection Geoffrey Lonshord

| Dear Geoffrey,
How are you and what news of court do you have for me? Their is still an unwelcoming feeling here but I can't help with the faith that I have been raised up in. The christening was quick to my surprise I was shocked to see that the babies head were not blessed with holy oil made in the sign of a cross. We are about to have dinner and I hope they shan't eat haggis which consists of a sheeps stomach. I hope to spend some time with the Duke himself but we have only the princess at the moment with lady Alice and Sir Thomas.
Look forward to seeing you my friend.
Katherina. | |

| My dear Lady Katherina, I'm happy to hear that Christening went well. About using oil during the ceremony, I'm not a expert of religious ceremonies, but maybe this is a scotish habit. Hope you enjoy your time there. After all, the Duke, the Princess and Chancellor More can't be a so bad company. Here at court many things are happening. The Duke of Suffolk has been banished from court. No one would never imagine that the King could banish his best friend. But he did.. And about myself, I asked to Kate to marry me. I gave her the ring..and she accepted. I'm very happy, and I can't wait to see you soon

| Dear Geoffrey,
I am very happy to hear this joyful news and can't wait to see the ring. But as for Charles Brandon how can this be they have both been friends since childhood. What is the feeling like at court.

| My dear Lady Katherina, still few people know about the Duke's banishment. But the news shocked everyone. The reason must be serious, cause they are friends since childhood. Master Cromwell himself gave him the news. That's all I know, for now. But I'll try to get more information about this situation. We're all anxious to know what will happen to his wife and his son, now.. How things are going in Scotland? Hope to see you soon
Your loyal friend Geoffrey

| Dear Geoffrey,
I am now enjoying myself in Scotland. The conversation between us is going excellently well I find that he values what I have to say. I do feel a touch guilty that my husband has returned and am not their to keep him company. I am sure Cromwell has set tasks for him.
Looking forward to your company soon,
Katherina. | |

| My dear Lady Katherina, I'm happy that things are improving there and that you're finally enjoying your scotish journey. Thomas More can't be so bad, after all. I miss you greatly, and I can't wait to see you again for talking about recent events at court with you. I'm sure that your husband misses you too. I always told you that he loves you. So don't worry and enjoy your time. Hope to see you soon

| My dearest Lady Katherina,
at first, I thought I read wrong, and I had to read your words twice. You said a dog? It's very nice of Sir Thomas More. I had no idea that he loved pets. But I'm happy that finally you both are almost friends. Maybe it could be a nice gift for my Kate too. When will you come back court? I miss your company very much
Sincerely Your loyal friend Geoffrey
