Isabella of Austria bedchamber's

Isabella had heard that her cousin had come to visit in Bavaria she was very happy to hear this news and her mind was full of questions for her. Did her cousin know what her mother was facing back in Spain because of her brother. Isabella knocked on the door a servant had announced her arrival.

Isabella was sitting in her bedchambers with her ladies in waiting. Who heard the knock on the door and one of the ladies answered.

"Your Majesty your cousin Princess Isabelle of Portugal here to see you."

Isabelle smiled after the lady said this and waved her to let her in.

Isabella walked in extending her hands out to her cousins she glared at her lady in waiting. Actually I am an Empress! Isabella kissed both of her cousins cheek. Dear cousin it has been to long since we have both seen each other tell me have you seen your mother. Isabella ordered the ladies in waiting out of the chamber so they could talk in private.

Isabella smiled at her dear cousin.

"Dear cousin please don't take it out on her she didn't mean to make the mistake."


She said to her cousin.

Isabella stopped tilting her head to the side as she observed her cousin. We are royal the moment you let people treat you as a commoner you lose respect.

"But you where a princess at one point."

She said to her cousin.

At one point yes but now I am no longer now I am the mother of Spain. Isabella said politely no lady in waiting was going to disrespect her. Speaking of mothers have you heard about the safety of yours.

"Yes I have. And I hear you mother."


She said softly.

My mother has been dead for a very long time cousin that is why it is so important to help out you're mother. Isabella grew annoyed at her cousins ignorance as to what was happening.

"I came here to visit family you. And to get away from it all. I am not next in line to the kingdom."

She said looking down.

Isabella grew irritated and furious if this was her mother she would stay by her side throughout her hardships. Cousin may I remind you that it is not you who is going through this hard time but in fact it is your mother. A mother who needs all the support she can muster against your crazed brother. The scar of her childbirth ached greatly whenever Isabella grew angry.
