Master Spare Bedchamber

With a few servants following I led my mother to where she would be staying whilst in Scotland. I very much wanted my mother and James to get along but I was also willing to send her back to France at any time. The lanterns in the hall were all being lighten up by the servants ready for nighttime. Looking back I gave a kind smile to my mother knowing deep down she just wished for me to have a different outcome with having children than she did. Nothing troubles me lady mother except childbearing. I sat timidly on the bed swinging my feet in and out under the bed. I want children out of love not out of duty. I would like a say when a child gets to bless our life but things don't work out that way. Other than that I am happy, James loves me he makes me happy in more ways than one. I sighed breezily not caring who saw me in this daydreaming happiness it was how James made me feel.
