The drawing room

I entered into the draw room at Versailles waiting for the arrival of Isabelle of Guise and i prepare two drinks ready

"Yes lady Isabelle please sit down my lady

I wanted to ask you something Isabelle.
Do you know anything about my bride to be or anything about what she is like for i am not told anything.

I believe you are right Isabelle but i have not seen her for months and i do miss her for i love her very much.
I want to be able to choose my own bride.
Diane would be a great queen don't you agree?
What about you Isabelle are you married?

"I am sorry to hear that Isabelle i hope you will be alright

"I am glad to hear that my lady.
"When i am king my lady you will be most welcome at my court and perhaps you would like to be amongst queen Catherine's ladies at court and you would be most welcome.
"Do you have family at court?"

I do hope you would like the opportunity to serve my wife to be and perhaps you could invite your family here to Versailles for a private dinner with myself

"Thank you Isabelle for accepting my offer.
"You would be the perfect lady in waiting for my new bride and you know Versailles too which would also benefit her and help her get used to the customs.
"Would you like your family to come for a visit?

"Take your time to write your letter Isabelle your family will always be welcome here in my household.

"My mother Claude is well my lady i am much closer to her than i am to father for i feel father does not believe in me.
"My mother is delightful.
"Would you consider coming with me to see her?

I came to the draw room and say my aunt Renee with some cards and i always enjoyed my aunt's company.

I go over to the table.
"Shall we play cards dear aunt Renee i wish to ask your advice on something.

I was in the drawing room at Versailles when I am informed of the arrival of Christina of Hesse and I arrange for the servants to bring her here to meet with me.
