Maria de' Medici entered her room, she was frustrated with the life within the Medici court, her father troubled her often but she had fallen in love with a young man, she kept her love hidden for she was fearful what would happen if she was caught. Taking a seat, she took out a book turning through its pages, reading over the Latin within it. She was very clever indeed and she sat upon the bed reading under the blankets.
