Diary of an Empress

The long lived romance that had gone on for so long has now ended, I destroyed it so no one else could ruin it. To be honest, I am angry for allowing myself to love a mere King, whose love he had once said he felt for me was never actually mine to receive. I am awake most nights reliving all the summers we spent together when I was naive to actually think he loved me. I guess I was lonely. Charles was busy trying to free his aunt from the English all his attention was focused on that. I cannot find fault with Charles he made me Empress of my beloved Spain, which is much powerful than a King and Queen annoying that people forget that little fact. Together Charles and I will put the needs of our people first do differently, what our ancestors had done.
