Jane brought her sister to this part of the garden where they were currently sitting. All the flowers were in bloom accompanied by a buzzing bee and chirping birds in nests. "What adventures do you wish to tell me sister"

"Well, I came here for advice or some kind of answer." Dorothy says. "I met a gentleman at a party. Overtime and so forth I started to grow fond of him. She starts to get nervous about getting to her point of her being at Wulfhall. "Just last night I had a dream that he was going to ask me to marry him. I don't know what to say when he will ask."

"Oh Dorothy" Jane was surprised and happy at the same time. But was she the right person to be giving advice? Not having any experience with men it was impossible to say what she should do. Normally Edward would intervene and gently coax us into doing the right thing. She reached for her sister's hand, placing her's gently on top. "Do you love him Dorothy"

"I suppose." Dorothy says "But, I'm not ready for the engagement yet." She says with worry

Jane bit her lip, trying to think of a way to help her sister out. " You don't have to do anything you don't want to" She reassured her. Albeit a bit curious as to what it would be like to have a man fancying her like Dorothy seemingly had. "Dorothy might I ask what it's like to have a man wanting to court you"

"It's wonderful." Dorothy smiled "I never thought it would happen to me."

"But you do not wished to be married.. Am I correct?" Jane asked trying to understand her sisters reservation towards marriage. "Is it because of what happened to Edward when he married Catherine"

Oh I do. Just... not yet." Dorothy says "Of course not. It just feels like that I have known Clement, the gentleman, for less than a year."

Jane grinned and was now feeling in a very playful mood. "Whether you marry this man or not I will support your choice"

"You would?" Not many people would not do that "Oh Jane." Dorothy said as she smiled and hugged her sister.

Hugging her sister back Jane rested her head on her sister's shoulder. "Have you heard from him lately"

"I don't think I have."" Dorothy says with a sigh "When I had mistaken him as an intruder and smashed him with a glass bottle. I often fear that he will never forgive me."

Jane looked at her sister in disbelief. "You assaulted a man. Dorothy you are lucky to not be put in the tower!" She couldn't believe it. Jane felt her body sinking further and further into her chair goosebumps growing up her neck.

"I didn't mean to." Dorothy explained to her sister "What else could a lady do in such a situation?"

"I probably wouldn't known what to do either." Jane was very glad that no man wanted to court her at the moment. She was just very happy to see her other siblings fall in love.

"So, tell me, Jane." Dorothy says as she picks a wildflower and starts to pick at the petals. "Do you have your eyes on a man yet?" She asks with a teasing grin.

"No sister no man as of yet." She forced her smile. Her father had yet to match Jane with anyone the reason why she did not know. But Jane was pure of heart and followed the instructions of her father and brothers. "Love will come to me in time sister."
