"Charles was announced by a servant in Anne's chambers"

"The Duke of Suffolk"

"Charles came in and bowed before the Queen"

Your Majesty..I came to bring my congratulations for Princess's birth. The King of France, King Richard of Bavaria, James of Scotland and Empereors Charles and Ferdinand bring their wishes, as the Queen of Portugal and even Ottoman Sultan..

"Charles gave letters to a servant written by these Kings and Queens and he brought them in Anne's hands"

Also, His Majesty is preparing everything to celebrate Princess's Christening. It will take place tomorrow in the Royal Chapel...

I look up at Charles Brandon as he was announced.

"Lord Brandon I thank you for your words and I do cherish my daughter a great deal. I am honoured to hear that the birth of my child has been well received across the great nations of Europe and the continent." I say as I look at the letters presented to me by my servants on the writings of the Kings and monarchs and it bought a smile to my lips.

I look back up at Charles.

"My lord Brandon I hope that you will attend the Christening tomorrow in the chapel and do tell me is everything alright with your lady wife as I have not seen her at court as of late?

"Charles nodded"

My wife, Lady Catherine, is not feeling very well in these days, Your Majesty. So she prefers resting rather than taking part at courtlife. But I'm sure she will come to see you soon. Thank you for asking, anyway...

Of course, Your Majesty. I will be there. Probably my wife won't be with me, but she sends you her regards...

Margaret nodded after Anne's words "I went to market, Your Majesty. And I have bought the cloth that the tailor will use to make your new gown. It will be ready in few days.." She said "About Lady Sabrina, I have heard she is not at court, Your Majesty. She went to visit her parents..since I have heard that her mother is very ill. But she sends her deep apologizes to Your Majesty..hoping to be back at court soon.."

I looked closely at Margaret.

"Margaret is there a sample of this cloth you sent to the tailor as I would like to see it before I receive the gown. Please inform the tailor that upon delivery of my gown to court he shall receive payment for his services.

I was unaware of Lady Sabrina's mother and I am concerned for her welfare. I understand now why she is not at court. Please send her this letter I have just written my support for her. You serve me well Margaret I could trust no one better.

Margaret nodded "As you wish, Your Majesty. I'll let Lady Sabrina know. After all, she is part of your family, being an Howard.." she took the letter from her hands "Also, I shall bring you an exemple of the cloth, Your Majesty. So you can decide if it suits for your gown. And as you know, for me it's a great honour to serve you, Your Majesty.." She added

I look towards Margaret.

"Indeed she is family and now I am concerned for her welfare but I know that i can trusts you with the safe delivery of my letter. I shall look forward to seeing the fabric choice that you have chosen for the tailor that you believe would be suitable. Margaret what is the rumour I hear at court that you have been seeing my brother?

Margaret blushed suddenly after Anne's words "Your Majesty..Lord Rochford and I were close friends in the past. That's all...but nothing indecent happened between us.." She paused for a moment "Recently I went to visit him. I told him that you made me your Chief Lady in waiting. But..my behaivour is virtous, Your Majesty. As you know..I'm happily married and I have a son.."

I smiled as I could see Margaret was very happy.

"Do not worry Margaret I am not holding anything against you and I know that you are virtuous and would never do anything to offend me. Margaret you now have your new position here at court as my Chief Lady In Waiting I would very much like to meet your son for he sounds like a most interesting young man please bring him to court. You must of course forgive my brother for any forward actions for he has always been that way.

I looked at Margaret then smiled.

"Margaret there is something I would like you to do for me. Please can you write a letter to Queen Eleanor of France congratulating her on her marriage on my behalf and whether they would welcome us to France to visit. We were unable to accept the invitation to the wedding due to my confinement. Can you do that for me?

Anne entered the Queen chambers, she had recently been sent from France by her mother to attend upon her majesty, Queen Anne. Dressed in the finest silks and French fashion, she looked around as the ladies scuffled about, or there was others reading by the table. In all her life she had never been in a room more grander than the one she was in, the rich tapestries almost shined.

Anne was full of nerves, once she was informed to enter she walked in and tried to keep her composure. Walking over towards the Queen, she sunk into a low curtsy infront of her "Your Majesty, I am honored." She said, her voice low and she looked up at her. She was taken back at how beautiful Anne was, her enemies in France spoke nothing of how her olive toned skinned shone under the sun light. She smiled at her, hoping that she gave a good impression.

As the young lady rose from her curtsy one of the ladies with Queen Anne whispered in the ear of Lady Bassett that she should never look directly at the Queen unless permitted to do so.

Queen Anne looked over at the young girl. "Lady Bassett it is an honour to meet you. What brings you to England my lady?

As soon as the Lady whispered into her ear, Anne dropped her gaze to the floor, a heated blush creeping over her face at the mistake. She gulped "I have come to serve at Your Majesty's convenience. I have been sent with gifts of French Wine and some Silks from France as gifts from my mother and father, Lord Lisle and Honor Grenville, with hopes that you accept them with an open hear and to know you have as much support in France that you do here in England."
