Dearest brother, I write to you as I heard you've traveled to England. I know soon I will be turning 18 years old and remain unmarried. I was curious of your intentions on a marriage for me? The King of Scotland has shown interest in me but alas he is married and I hope perhaps to find a suitable marriage. Maybe I may be permitted with your blessing to choose my own husband as long as he has a suitable title but I will of course obey my brother and King first and foremost. I hope to make you a uncle to many children one day from me

-Your younger sister

My dear sister

I am aware that soon you shall indeed turn 18 and a suitable age to marry. I have travelled to England to seek an audience with his Grace king Henry on the prospect of you marrying an English Duke.

Although sister I would love to be able to give you my blessing to choose a husband I am sorry to say I cannot as you know we must make a good match for the country.

I will find you a husband who will treat you with respect and be living towards you and hopefully care for you and that you produce many children.

I am distressed though sister to receive word of the presence of the King of Scotland in Sweden. He can only be after a mistress and I will not have my sister taken away as some mistress.

I hope this news pleases you

Your brother

King Gustav

Dearest brother, it warms my heart to see your deep concerns for my well being
I do desire a love match, if I be arranged in marriage do allow me to know the man I marry first. You owe me that much.
As for the King of Scotland, I understand your deep concerns he is in our home and taking a interest in me, it must be my beauty and good looks which attract him so but I promise brother I have no interest to be a mistress to any man. I want to make our family, my family and you proud of me, I promise I won't have myself shamed by any man and take to be a mistress to his majesty. He is kind but I do not love him, I take highly to marry a man who I love and as much as I detest the idea of a arranged marriage, I will obey my King and Brother with his wishes.

As for the King of England, I'm curious what he may offer to our Kingdom, to me and yourself. Do you think we can trust him brother? I hope my questions aren't too bold, I hold nothing but love for you brother.
