Wolsey and Cromwell waited for queen Katherine, who was saying her prayers, accompanied by her ladies-in-waiting. Wolsey drummed his fingers, impatiently. Why did it took her so long?
Finally she crossed herself, rose and together with her ladies-in-waiting, she walked away from the altar. Cromwell and Wolsey approached her and made her stop. 'Your Majesty....the king asks why you don't attend the trial.' Wolsey spoke to her.
