As William entered his room, he put down his quill and listened very carefully. As soon as he finished his sentence and handed him the sealed letter he stood up and took it with him to the fireplace. He removed the seal and read the letter, frowning deeply.

He took his time to read the message again and once more, then threw the letter into the flames and watched them burning it, before he slowly turned around and stared at the messenger who waited patiently for him to speak.

He came closer to him and whispered.
Do you know what it is about, sir.... he asked him.

Chapuys nodded and watched him closely.

Our Holy Father has chosen you to perform a heavenly task... you are blessed, My Lord. You say you are sent back to England, that means that you were here before? I can not remember that I have seen you before, though I never forget a face!

He gestured William to sit down and poured two goblets of wine, handing him one.

Chapuys took a sip of the wine before he answered him.

I prefer Spain, of course. I miss the warmth, the people... but I have grown to like England, too. What I don't like, is to see the blurring of the Christian values, as you will experience yourself. Tell me first, how is our Holy Father? Is he in good health?

William cleared his throat before talking. Their are too many religions in England at the moment people should follow the true faith i have heard rumours of a protestant being brought to court for what reasons? William asked wanting to know what he was really up against. He is well he is just waiting for the English king to yield and come to his senses.
