| Edmund went into the great hall with his governess who in truth he was more comfortable with than his mother. He saw his governess every day and his mother only rarely. | |

| Elizabeth was the last to arrive as always, as she wrote a pretty french dress her mother had made for her yet it was a riding dress for leaving and she eased herself into the chair and took a piece of meat and chewed on it, her mood was foul because of being awoke by her brother so she choose not to speak. | |
