Cesare Garcia's bedchamber

He laughed,"Not at all, Alfonsina. I had duties I had to and have to fulfil - I cannot abandon them and I am back for now."

She knew those duties. But she didn't mean them. She meant herself. Cesare was always escaping from being close with her. She didn't say anything , she just remained silent.

"What troubles you, sis?"he asked.

She shrugged.

"Nothing.."

Then she added.

"I think I had better go."

He sighed,"What have I said?"

She straightened herself up and sat down to the edge of the bed. She was facing back to Cesare.

"You haven't said anything brother.. Do not worry about that."

Tell me to stay , she was thinking and wanting so badly and she stood up.

"Then why the rush?"he replied with a smile,"You have no one apart from the hideous Margaret to go back to...so stay."

She remained silent again for a while. Then she went near to the table and poured herself a goblet of wine.

"Would you like some?"

She asked him.

He laughed,"No. I'm still nursing a sore head."

She took a large sip from her wine. She nearly drank half of it. Then she came back near him to the bed.

He opened his arms,"What about a trip to Italy?"

She placed herself into his arms peacefully and smiled. Her cheeks were burning because of the wine.

"It would be the best!"

She answered happily.

"We shall have to arrange it, it will be better to be away from here for a while,"he paused and thought of Margaret scornfully.

She smiled. He was right Alfonsina was missing home so much.

"When can we leave? When can be the closest time?"

He laughed and kissed her golden hair,"End of the week, perhaps..."

She giggled with happiness. She still couldn't believe that they would go to Italy.

"It is really close."

She kissed his lips with happiness again.

"My brother is making me really happy."

He smiled - he couldn't wait to leave,"Do you have to bring Margaret?"

She frowned and sighed.

"She can have a holiday.."

Cesare sat up,"Yes but not with us."

"I will tell her that she can stay here.. Don't worry.."

She said softly.

"Good,"he said simply and walked over to the table to pour himself some wine.

She sat up on the bed too. Then when she saw Cesare going for a goblet of wine , she smiled to him.

"For me?"

She asked.

He passed her the wine and stared at the sky for a moment. Why did he feel the way he did, what was wrong with him?

He sighed but turned round and smiled,"Perhaps I'll marry some Italian maid when we are there,"he joked.

She was always wondering about the thoughts which was on his mind. He was looking at the sky and thinking something deep. Alfonsina took the wine and drank it at one sip. Then the feeling of jealousy covered all her body again after the things Cesare said. But she didn't react so much.

"I must approve first about that maid."

She said with a cold voice.

He smirked,"I didn't get to approve your men."

He joked and sat on the edge of the bed,"She shall be a beauty."
