She smiled. He was right but he never said anything about them.

"Of course she shall be.. What else would you like?"

She was barely remaining calm. Also she didn't want Cesare to understand her jealousy again. What was happening to her? Was she jealous about her brother's marrige? Why?

He glanced behind him and replied,"She could be no better than you for that is impossible."

She smiled to him then she asked that question she always wanted to ask.

"Which woman did you love most , Cesare?"

He shrugged and sighed deeply,"I loved Margaret...perhaps I thought hatred was love though. I do not know if I have truly known loving another."

While she was listening to him , she poured herself another goblet of wine and drank it too. The room was getting hotter or she was just feeling like. She nodded.

"Do you really want to marry someone?"

He looked around and finally replied,"No...I have tried it and look how it turned out. I think no one can truly love me nor I them."

"I guess our family is cursed. None of us can have a proper relationship or marriage."

She smiled and her heart was beating fast when he held her hand.

"How?"

She asked warmly.

She didn't say anything and closed her eyes. Why was she feeling like that? Could she be in love with her brother? She thought , of course not.

He squirmed in the silence - there was an urge but he knew it was wrong. He had to fight it.

She opened her eyes and looked at him. His dark eyes were closed. She caressed his cheek and she started to play with his curly dark hair.

He opened his eyes and sighed,"Oh sis,"he whispered.

He leaned up and kissed her cheek. He then fell onto the bed again and held his arms behind his head.

He opened his eyes and laughed as he joked,"I'm a creature of the night - I come alive when it's dark."

He added,"I'm having a moment of nostalgia..."
