| 'I'm going to dedicate myself entirely to this family. You are all such warm, genuine people.. I am honored to become a part of it.' I made sure to make eye contact with them all, even Thomas, before looking at Edward, 'It is like entering a new exciting world and I can not wait to marry you Edward.' I smiled lovingly at him. | |

| I smiled kindly to lady Anne.
''Yes we are now your family and we are happy that you are here with us.''

| I looked at Elizabeth, 'Thank you Elizabeth, that really means a lot to me.' 'So how has everyone's day been?' I asked in a lighter tone, satisfied that I had made my point clear.

The loving glance she gave me warmed me, much to my surprise. I said nothing in return, but under the table I took her hand and gave it a light squeeze, giving her a small smile to show how I felt.

| It moved me when Edward took my hand and showed me how loving he could be. I folded my fingers around his, excitement whelling up inside me as I realised that me and Edward could actually work.

| I took a sip from my goblet and then look at Edward and Anne.
''So have you thought about the date for your wedding?''
I asked with a small smile.

| I smiled when Elizabeth mentioned the wedding, it was the very thing Anne and I had discussed previously. "I am of course leaving the other details to my capable fiancee.. but I think it would be ideal to have the wedding after the new year. We can start afresh with a new beginning." I looked proudly at Anne as I held her hand. | |

| I smiled widely to Edward.
''That sounds very good to me....Nothing is better than a new beginning...I am so happy for you both!''
I said happily still smiling.

| I smiled kindly to Elizabeth, she Jane and Dorothy were the easiest to get along with and the most genuine in my opinion. "Well thank you sister. I'm confident that one day you will have your own wedding to plan, and that the groom may be worthy of such a treasure," I said with sincerity. | |

| I glanced at Anne and said kindly.
''Lady Anne if you need any help with preparations I would be more than glad to help you.''
Then I turned my eyes to Edward again.
''I am sure that papa,Thomas and you will choose such man for me to marry. Anyway I have plenty time until than but you will be married very soon.''

| I smiled warmly, loving how easy it was to feel part of this new family. 'Of course Elizabeth, I will definately be needing some help!' 'How do the Seymours normally celebrate christmas?' I said in a light tone.

| I smirked despite the harmless question. "We Seymours are not very peculiar in that respect. We usually have a small dinner at Wulfhall with our parents, and exchange gifts. Sometimes Elizabeth sings.. she has a very good voice. Jane and Dorothy try to get me or Thomas to dance with them." I chuckled to myself, remembering when we were all younger and better acquainted than we were now. | |

| I smiled widely as I remembered those times.
''Ah I don't have such a good voice! You just say that because you are my brother...I miss those times maybe we can do that again for this christmas''

| "I think a Christmastide feast at our childhood home would be lovely, and we can finally introduce Anne to our parents." I sincerely hoped that would go over well, though I was anxious over it. "And you do have a beautiful voice Elizabeth, you certainly sing better than I" I teased. | |

| I nodded in agreement.
''Our parents will be very happy and I think that is really time for you to introduce your future wife.''
I laughed softly at his words.
''That is true my dear brother....I certainly have a better voice than you do''

| I giggled at the thought of a young Edward dancing with his sisters! 'It sounds lovely, and I do also think I should meet your parents Edward... ' I wondered how things were between edward and his father, he didn't appear to be that bitter towards him which I found very strange. I would love to help edward get his own back and show his father that he did him a favour because now he had found his equal, someone who was as ambitious and clever. | |

| "I think we should all go together, as a family." I suggested this, hoping I would have others to be distraction. In truth I thought I could only face my father if my siblings were around as well. I leaned in towards Anne and whispered so only she could hear. "Sometime soon we shall have a talk." | |

| I listened intently as Edward teased Elizabeth, I smiled missing Lizzie's wonderful tone. "Ah yes Christmas tide at the Seymour home is a grand tradition! Although, prepare yourself lady Stanhope, some of our traditions are not quite the the norm" I said trying to frighten the girl as I took drink of my wine. | |

| I could only imagine what went on in the seymour household. 'Well I am looking for something new, sounds like I found it!' I laughed, 'Do you play strange games with eachother? Or perhaps you all eat the strangest foods....yes I reckon I am prepared.' I mocked thomas, prepare myself for a christmas dinner?! | |
