I did not say you were free to go I said that I will let you go but first you must come with me to Kenninghall and make up with the Duke and I would advise you to stay at court and serve the lady Anne as you have no friends abroad.

Now please Mary I said I will let you go and I will when you have done this for me as I think it would be best. He is becoming very popular at court now.

Master Secretary I may not have friends abroad but I have friends here in court that are willing to help me I return his gaze As for attending Kenninghall I will never apologise to the man who tried to rape me for I have done nothing wrong

I look down to calm my anger I will only attend if I am accompanied by Lady Margery Seymour, Lady Mary Boleyn and His Grace the Duke of Suffolk, for my own safety as I do not trust him

I look up at him I care not for power of my own, I am content to serve His Majesty our Gracious Lord King Henry and Lady Boleyn or any fine lady that is in need of my service
