Great Hall

It was a time for a change of scenery so hopping aboard the next ship sailing for England, I sail away from the country I love for a place so foreign to me.  After a calm yet nerve wracking journey, I makenit to Whitehall and its Great Hall.  Grabbing a goblet, I wander through the crowds, smiling to hide my nervousness.

I went into the great hall and took a goblet of wine from a passing steward, then went back and took the bottle from him as well. "Keep 'em coming lad," I muttered as I took a seat in the corner. Tonight was a night to drown my sorrows. Time for a small pity party. "Women," I muttered. "one way or another, they will drive you to drink!" I gulped down my wine and quickly poured another.

I entered the Great Hall and spotted Francis Bryan. I approached him and chuckled. "Already lucid eh my friend?" I said as I took a goblet from the servant as well. "how are you? it's been quite some time?"

I saw Knivert approaching and laughed at his joke. "I've been better my friend. It's good to see you again. I take it the king has asked you to come back?" I nodded him to take a seat as I began a new drink.

I sat down with him finished my drink and called for another. "Yes, his majesty has called me back to court, my wife and new born son shall join me soon I said and began drinking feeling at ease to back home. "And you, how have you been? Tell me what's new here?"

"Well congratulations! I hope they're both doing well." I looked around at the crowd of milling people. "Me, I've been the same, another night another woman another tankard of ale. You ever hear of that bloke who was to be executed and asked to be drowned in ale? Smart fellow, that one." I hiccuped. "Come to think of it, speaking of such, did you hear the cardinal was put in the Tower?" I raised my eyebrows and rolled my eyes, I never took a liking for that man.

Mary notice that a lady speak to her.

" My Lady who you are and from where you know who i am?"

" Oh very nice to meet you how is your mother?"

Mary smilie friendly at her.

" Yes at first she is strong but i don`t know how long.What bring you at the Court?"

Mary look at her-

" You mean Edward?"

Marys face get pale.

" You became his baby?"

Mary was so full of panic.

" But why your marriage is annuled?"

" I don´t know what i can say.I hope you found a new husband !"

Mary look at her stomach.

" What you will do know?"

" What for a santuary?"

Mary is confused of her.
