Anne Boleyn's Reception Room

I enter the reception room and see the Lady Anne seated with her ladies standing behind her.  She looks so beautiful.

 I approach her, and say as I bow before her and I take her hand and press a light kiss upon it, "My Lady Anne, you are to be congratulated for reaching so high."

Anne was sitting her chair and she was waiting to meet the courtiers. She looked at the man who entered the room, he was Thomas Wyatt. Anne's former love, poet Thomas.. Anne looked at him and she smiled

"Thank you, Thomas.."

She lowered her voice

"We were once good friends, I will never forget it"

Thomas smiled at his former love, who was now the King's.  He bowed again and smiled at her and said:

"Thank you, my Lady Anne.."  

He lowered his voice and said to her:  

"I am pleased you will not forget our friendship.  I will remember it also.."  

He said in a normal voice:

"I have been raised also.  It seems that poets sometimes have their uses too.."  He smiled again at her

Anne felt something in her heart. He was her former lover but no longer meant anything other than a friend and a courtier.. She was in love with the king..
Anne leaned back and looked at Thomas

"Yes, I can see that. You are raised too"

"Yes, it is true, my Lady"

He thought with sadness that their love could not be

 "We poets, musicians and actors do have our use it seems.  I would like to present to you a friend of mine, a musician, Mark Smeaton.."

He smiled again at this beautiful woman, who could only be a friend

Anne was suprised. She frowned curiously and she smiled

She looked at Mark Smeaton with a smile and held out her hand.

"Mister Smeaton?"

Mark gave a quick glance at Thomas and stepped forward towards lady Anne he bowed then kissed her hand.

Lady Anne I believe the pleasure is mine

Mark arose stepping back admiring her beauty her lips stood out like rose buds.

Anne watched him. She impressed by this man. He was young, handsome and very polite. Anne noticed his violin and asked;

"Do you play the violin?"

A smiled spread across Mark's lips.

Indeed lady Anne what gave me away.

He said jokingly

Anne watched with great interest. She looked at Thomas for a moment and applauded.

"Will you show me?"

But of course lady Anne.

Smiling his cheerful smile mark led her to the right of him where some of her ladies were gathered. He gently placed his violin upon her left shoulder guiding her right arm with his and smiled as she struck up a tune.

Anne was very excited. She put her hand onto his hand. She was smiling cheerfully and she tried to play with Mark

Mark lead Anne into a merry little tune trying his best to not make her fail or to look stupid. He kept on instructing her laughing playfully along with her. It came to an end and he smiled at his artistic friend thomas Wyatt as the little crowd around them applauded the lady Anne.

It was so much fun to play the violin. Anne was really pleased. She followed by the vibration of the violin wires and she giggled

Mark speaded up the playing of the violin and let it finish naturally removing the violin from Anne and letting her take all the glory from the round of applause that broke out amongst her ladies and on lookers

I hadn't seen Lady Anne for some time and I thought it would be nice to see her; she was my brothers choice how ever much I sympathised with the Queen...Anne and Henry were together and soon she would join the ranks of my family; I hoped we could friends as well as sisters-in-law.
The announcer bows as he speak my name: "Her Highness, the Princess Katherine requests an audience my Lady."

i walk into Queen Anne Bolyen's reception room and curties to her and not spoke to her until she spoke to me ...as i curties i make no eye contact to show my repect to her

Ooc: My dear, I'm not the queen yet. You may come to my bedroom

"Charles walked until Queen's chambers. She sked to see him. Since he knew she never liked him, he wondered about what she wanted to talk bout. After being announced":

"Your Majesty..the Duke of Suffolk is here.."

"He entered and bowed"

Your Majesty...

I looked up at the servant and asked him to open the door and let the Duke in.

"Charles walked into room and bowed deeply"

Your Majesty...did you want to see me?

"He asked lowering his eyes to ground"

I looked up at Charles Brandon as he had entered the room.

"Good day, my Lord Suffolk, I trust that you are well? I did want to ask you that as of late I have noticed that you appear to be avoiding me, why is this?

"Charles raised his eyes and and shook slowly his head"

I would never dare avoiding you, Your Majesty. I just spent some time at my family home in Suffolk with my children. But now I'm here and I'm ready to serve you and His Majesty..

"He replied, looking carefully at her face"

I look directly at him with my piercing black eyes.

"Well I am pleased to hear you say this my Lord Suffolk. I hope that all is well with your wife Katherine at home?
