Rose Park

I had not seen my sister Katherine since she arrived at court and already so much has happened in so little time that I needed to speak with her before she parted to a foreign land. I closed my eyes taking in the smell of the roses.

Walking beside my elder sister, I link arms with her and giggle...my impending marriage had made me greatly happy. "Tell me Mary, darling how are you?"

'Well Katherine people keep fussing about me which I do not like. So our brother tells me you are to be Wed how does our niece mary taken the news as she is England main link to Spain it pains me for her to feel pushed out but at least I get to have her at my birth party. You are practically beaming so tell me about your future husband. '

I brought out my fan and sun umbrella

I sigh as she speaks of our niece. "I want Mary to come to the wedding! She is Henry's heiress and our niece; I want my family at my wedding..all of them." My smile becomes bright as I think of Francis...It was plain to see I had fallen for him. "My future husband is lovely...Gallant and kind, handsome and strong! He is everything I could want!" I beam at her, turning to face her "And even better; Henry will give us an estate in England. I am not being sent from you!"

I found a bench and sat down.

'Well I find it rather nice that you are staying Henry is letting me go to Ludlow if you would like to come with me you and I mean only you are more than welcome to join me perhaps think about it. Have you already shared a secret kiss with you're betrothed? Their is no shame in it I wish I had you around for my wedding'

I gave her hand a tight squeeze

I blush as she mentioned Francis and I kissing. "We have kissed a little bit...." I look down, smiling faintly. Squeezing Mary's hand back, I look at her and sigh. "I wish I could have been! But I heard about it in the Nunnery...the sisters told me about you wedding to the Scottish Duke." I smile more brightly "And now I am to marry my Prince from Navarre!" I cannot hide my happiness and excitement.

I smiled

'Nuns who like to gossip very interesting prey do tell me more if these nuns! I think our niece wants to choose becoming a nun I have a feeling about it.'

I let the breeze sweep over us.

'And is his entire family of Navarre coming? Do you have any idea on you're wedding dress? I remember having hair as tall as I could and at the back of the chapel their were candles a light. Can I tell you Katherine what bothers my mind'

"The sisters thought I might be interested to know of my elder sisters marriage." I look at her. "And I do not know about Francis' family...I would however be happy for them to attend my wedding." I smile warmly at my sister "Of course you can!"

I looked at my sister. 'Katherine do you miss the nuns if you like you can talk with me about it I am you're sister. Offer them a friendly hand and I am sure they shall come. I am only 10 weeks with child and I feel as if I am being treated like a whale I tell you Katherine I am so bored of laying around. Something happened and I really could use my sister' I rested my head on her shoulder.

"I am always here darling...even when I am married; I will still your sister." I smile faintly "You just have be careful..." I kiss the top of her head "I'll always be your baby sister, no matter what."

Ben heard of an autumn party and was on his way there, however he took a shortcut through the Rose park hoping this time not to run into any of his enemies.
Half way there, he noticed a beautiful lady walking towards him, he smiled "Good day, my lady" he said admiring her.

Smiling joan took in his physique like she did with her horses her only love. Something about him seemed odd like he was on edge You have no need to fear me except for my fan and temper but I have no need to use them upon you but prey do tell you look as if you have seen a few fists. Smiling she handed him her hanky dangling it by her fingers.

Ben took the kerchief and wiped his face of the blood. Embarrassed by this he then apologized "Forgive my presence my lady, I hadn't expected on being seeing in this manor." He said with the kerchief still held to his forehead.

Do not worry about it was she worth it? Stepping forward Joan removed the hanky from his head feeling his breath floating down her neck making her standstill for a moment taking in his beautiful green eyes I think you shall live let's go and clean you up somewhere

He looked away ashamed "Not in the least" our eyes locked as she took the kerchief "I think that's a good idea" He replied and followed her to a near by well.

Joan could sense that he was not being himself and frowned No you need hot water to clean with and as much as I want to see you in all your glory you are going to have too pick a chamber  Joan eye's were practically glowing their was more to this man and it would be fun to find out

Benjamin had never been spoken to like that before, much less by a woman. However, he was not ashamed nor humiliated, he sort of enjoyed it. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt" Is all he said.

Joan pursed her lips Ah! I take it you are not used to a women who is confident with men

"No, not at all. I'm used to every woman being plight and afraid to get her hands dirty. However, you seem like you throw all cautions to the wind and do what you like, which I very much like in you." He said with a smirk as they walked.

Well I do know when to give complete control to the man I am very surprised that you are still interested in talking with me What other men find scary you do not I could be the flames in your passion Joan placed a hand on his back moving in closer and closer in a subtle way

He chuckled at her words and felt her hand on his back, getting the notion that she wanted more than friendship from him. "No, I enjoy talking with you your the most fascinating person i've met in this park" He said and placed his hand on her waist, gazing into her eyes then bringing her face close to his kissing her.

Joan pulled him closer to her her hands going up his shirts feeling his warm silky skin The most exciting part of this kiss was the intensity of their kiss her tongue getting a jolt of passion from his making her go weak at the knees leaving her to hang on to him Yes I want more than friendship from you is that so bad In her minds eye seeing wanted to take him to the nearest lake or pond and for them to be as sensual as they could be amongst the shrubbery but joan wanted someone to love her
