Main Room Great Hall

After Anne's abrupt departure from the range, Thomas walks the grounds, still bored and perplexed and wanders into the palace hall. To his pleasant surprise, there before him stands Lady Lumley, in her delicate hands is the arrow he'd shot, as well as it's twin, embedded into it's shaft from her own bow.

"M' Lady... this is a most unexpected pleasure indeed!" he says genuinely exuberant and smiling.

Anne padded into a room off the Great Hall, the music was muffled and almost echoed through the hall.
She heard a voice near her and then saw Thomas. She grinned,"Hello you,"she replied.

Catherine saw a women her husband had told her off and approached her So you are the one who had been with my husband the other night I believe

Anne glanced round and saw a woman approach. She gave Thomas a look and turned to her,"Your Grace,"she greeted warmly,"Yes-His Grace was most kind and spoke very fondly of you. I believe that congratulations are also in order..."

Thomas turns to see The Duchess of Suffolk enter and bows politely. "Good day, your Grace".

Anne cleared her throat,"Excuse me, My Lady,"she said and brushed past Catherine.

She returned to Thomas, near the door with a light smile,"Visit me anytime-if you wish."

She then left the room-smile then gone, clutching the arrow in her hand.

I settled for staying in on the coldest night of the year. I tossed back a mug of ale as I watched the crowd, surveying the ladies as they danced, wondering which one I would pick out if I was still a free man. I saw someone enter and saw he was familiar. Benjamin Baines I said with a smirk. It is good to see you again, old chap!

Margaret was walking along the Great Hall. She was bringing a small amphora in her hands. There was herbal tea for Alfonsina inside it. Alfonsina used drinking it every night before sleeping and she was bringing it in Alfonsina's room. She stopped suddenly next the main window and she looked outside. She thought about Anthony, and about how much her life changed in few days. She took a deep breath

Cesare decided to go to the great hall before succumbing to sleep - there was more wine to be drunk. He sulked in a corner as kept a pitcher of wine close to him - his mind filled with thoughts.

Margaret removed her blonde curls from her shoulder before walking further. She didn't want arriving too late to Alfonsina. Bust suddenly she stopped again seeing a man drinking something. There was very few light in the Hall. She took few steps closer to see better. Suddenly her heart stopped and the amphora in her hands fell on the floor, making a big noise. That man was Cesare..but she hoped she was wrong..

Cesare glanced up after hearing the crash, through his dark hairs he saw her. He rolled his eyes and looked into his goblet,"Margret..."

Margaret leaned her hand on her stomach "What..what are you doing here?" She whispered breathing deeper. She couldn't believe he was around court again

He smirked and took a drink of the wine,"I live here,"he replied bluntly,"This is my home."

Margaret shook her head. She was hardly trying to remain calm "I thought you were sick..or death. Are you back from the hell, Cesare? For what?" She said with anger in her voice

He chuckled,"You always had a penchant for drama."

He finally looked at her and asked simply,"Why do you hate me so?"

Margaret looked at him with an ironic smile "I can't believe you are really asking me this question, Cesare. You..you broke suddenly our marriage. And I lost my child because of you! Our child.." She almost shouted, shaking a bit

He scoffed,"I didn't force you to miscarry."

He filled up his goblet again,"I don't see why you are still so bitter - from what I hear you are married again,"He glanced up with a teasing grin,"Tell me...is he as good a lover as I was?"

He laughed into his wine.

Margaret blushed and she gulped. She couldn't admit that Anthont left her during their wedding night, and they didn't even consummate the marriage "That's not your business. Stay way from my life, Cesare!" She said firmly, hoping she could hide how much she was upset

He shrugged and stared out the window,"You found me. I didn't seek you."

Margaret bit her lips "Men like you never change, Cesare. You are the same selfish bastard who left me suddenly. If I am still at Garcia's family service, it's for your sister. Not for you.." Her voice was trembling but she hoped he didn't notice that

He smirked,"If you insist. Although the quiver in your voice suggests that you misinterpret love for hatred."

He glanced up and chuckled.

She took a step towards him "The only person you loved in your life is yourself. You don't even know the meaning of this words. You live..only for lust. Go back to your whores and leave me alone!" She replied, ignoring his comment about her voice

He glanced down and mumbled,"I know the meaning of love."

He then stood up and walked towards her,"...And yet you remain. Is it a reaction you wish for, Margaret? You speak of lust and I know it is true I know it well...and I recognise it in the quiver of your lip - so speak not to me of lust nor love."

Margaret had to hold her breath as he came so close. She could feel his breath on her face "You just used me..for your pleasure. You never loved me. But I am not your toy anymore. I..I moved on.." She added whispering and removing fastly her eyes from him

"I'm sure you have,"he replied sarcastically and sipped his wine, turning away from her again.

He set down the goblet and picked up the pitcher. He walked as if to leave the room and paused at Margaret,"Goodnight,"he whispered,"Enjoy your new marital bed."
