Christophe and Angelique's Bedchamber

I am hurried into the bedchamber with a soaking wet dress. My ladies hurry to strip me of my dress and only leave on my undergarments. I scream all the while from this most excruciating, horrible pain that I have never experienced. I nearly collapse onto the floor as I climb into bed from the weakness of my knees.

My ladies rush about now gather towels, a large bowl of water, and fresh bedding and clothing. The physician rushes in and prompts me to spread apart my legs to see how far the baby is progressing. It wont be long now My Lady...he says. Where is my husband?? I scream.

Going to Angelique's Bedchamber I order a servant to tell Christophe about the news "Let Sir Sinclair know about Angelique, but do not let him in, not yet"

I went beside her, holding her hand "Your husband will be waiting for you outside, it is not good for a Lady to bee seen in pain, I will be here with you, I won't let you alone" I massage her face to help release stress and relax her, "Now, push darling, and breath" holding her hand

Everything seems to be set yet still there is no sign of my husband. Maybe he wishes to see it out like a lot of soon to be fathers do. Our child refused to wait another minute! I feel blessed to have the Queen here with me, holding my hand!

I feel an immense amount of pressure in my bottom, I need to push! I begin bearing down, attempting to push through the pain yet screaming instead! Push My Lady...PUSH!!! The physician screams at me. I bear down again and again and I slowly feel my energy drain from my body. I cant push..... My ladies cradle my head, patting me down with cool compresses as I give one last push. I feel my child leave my body, screaming loudly meaning that it is healthy. What is it? I ask weakly and the physicians exclaims, Its a healthy baby girl!!

Monsieur Sinclair and myself bolt from the study and hurriedly make our way down the hallway. I peek in before Sinclair, and see La Baronne smiling down upon her newborn child. It's tiny face is round as the moon and wisps of light hair cover it's sweet head. "Mon Dieu! He is a strong looking young man." I turn to Christophe. "I was of course quite correct, the child is just like his father!" I look up to see Claude trying to get my attention and give her an incredulous look. "What? What is it?"

I hold my darling little girl as the King and Christophe finally come into the room and I cannot help but to laugh at his apparent confusion.  Your Majesty, my darling husband, please say hello to Miss Eloise Sinclair.  I continue to grin from ear to ear, permanent I swear.  Just looking at my daughter makes everything seem so right. I run my finger through her tuft of curly dark brown hair when I look back up,  She does look like a Valois...I shake my head, Your Majesty, I must give you these papers I found in my home.  It seems you and I are related although illegitimately.  I clear my throat again, My father the late Baron was a bastard brother of your father.

I brush off the blow of humiliation at having guessed the child's gender incorrectly and turn, red-faced to, Sinclair. "Mon erreur Monsieur... I meant that she has her father's determined look... but of course her mother's beauty." I raise my eyes to Claude, shaking her head.

I hear La Baronne speak and turn my attention to her. "Related? pardonnez-moi? Let me see these documents." I reach out and my eyes move quickly left to right, reading each word carefully before dropping my hand with the papers to my side and looking incredulously at Angelique, before turning to Claude. "Mon Dieu!... Angelique is my niece!"

Ah Oui Votre Majesté. Incroyable huh?. I smile and look back to my daughter once more. My precious little angel! I will admit it is incredible to finally be finding my family on such a joyous occasion but when I look up once more, all I see is pure love beaming from my husband. Would you like to hold your daughter my love?

Angelique did it very well, and her baby girl is so beautiful and healthy, I felt very happy "Congratulation Darling" my eyes started to fill with tears of joy.

"Well my king now you have a clever and a very good niece, which I love with all my heart" I went to François, and I take his hand kissing it.

"You need to take a rest Angelique, let the nurses take the baby, they will feed her"

You have made me the happiest woman in all of France. I love you!. I curl up next to Christophe when he sits next to me with our daughter. I watch them interact and tears well up in my eyes to see the two loves of my life so happy. Miss Eloise, your father and I have waited so long for you.

I smile yet something deep inside of me doesn't feel right. I rest my head against his shoulder and watch our daughter sleep, Are you disappointed in me as I didn't give you a son?. I take a deep breath, Do you tire of me?. All these emotions run through me and I am trying to get a handle on them for the sake of my daughter.

For now their is nothing you can get me except, maybe we can talk about our time apart and you can keep me warm. Just lay with me fill my body back with warmth.
Angelique held on to her husbands hand. Placing their joined hands in her lap as her finger moved over his warm skin. She tried not to think of how many times he had killed a man with these hands but rather to the way they touched and traced her skin.

Angelique looked at him concern etched on her face. You will never lose me Christophe. I think every marriage has it's highs and lows but that doesn't mean we have to give up. Her hand caressed his back he was not a man to show his inner feelings. She sat up and wrapped her arms around him, her head resting on his back. I won't let you lose your mind. I am back now you may keep your sanity.

Never I would never give up on you! Such dark topics we speak of. Angelique wrapped herself around him resting her head on his chest. Just to be with you is giving me strength enough my love. Would you like to have children with me one day. She asked curiously as her lips touched his showing neck.

As they kissed Angelique was hungry for passion. She quickly removed her corset, the colour of her body changing with her mood. She ran her tongue over his lips, her legs were tightly wrapped around his. Angelique undid his shirt kissing his toned abs as the tips of her fingers ran over his silky chest. Oh I am sure trust me. She guided his hand up her skirt leaving his hand at the nape of his core. She looked at him seductively, her breasts moving with heaving passion just waiting to be tasted by him.
