Dear Charlotte,

I am writing this letter with affection and compassion I have for you. I read your note, it breaks my heart to see you leave like that, without a goodbye...

You were my wife, and even if is looked like I did not care or loved you, I did, I loved you, your heart, your soul, your tears, your smile every second passed in my life with you.
But life has it's own planes and courses, you can never change faith nor destiny, but we have a bond our son, and I would love to keep it. I want to spend time with my son, teach to become someone better then his father, to love and care for his mother, I want to be a proud father seeing my son strong and intelligent and he has the capacity to do that.

I am sorry for not showing my love as a husband should, even if you deserved a lot more then just love.

I am trying to fix our marriage annulment, with Cardinal Fisher, I hope there will be no problem.

I wish happiness for you too, and please kiss my son for me.

With kindness,
Anthony

Dear Anthony,

I was surprised to see you wrote me, but I am glad that there are some points we can agree on. For starters, I am sorry to have left the way I did. I guess I'm somewhat of a coward. I don't like sticky situations and I put us in one. Forgive my weakness.

Please know that I would never, ever keep our son away from you. I intend you to see him whenever we are in England, and when he is older he may travel on his own to be with you there. You could never be replaced as his father and I will never say a harsh word about you to poison him against you. Right now I think this time apart is what we both need.

I know you loved me, as I loved you with every fiber of my being. I will never forget our time together, as brief as it was. Who's to say why it ended the way it did? All I know is that I want every happiness for you, and that in the future, when you think better of me, I will be here as a friend.

With love,

Charlotte
