Dear Lady Rosenauer,

My Lady I have been acknowledged that you have been in Bavaria once, and I have heard so many good things about you, and since you were here once you know what kind of people we are and how we function.

I am writing you this letter to inform you that it will be my pleasure if you accept to become my maid-of-honour, if you decide so I will arrange everything for you.

I hope for your reply,

Princess Valerie

Dear Princess Valerie,

Though your request honors me greatly, I must respectfully decline the offer, the reason being that I think I have made my farewells to Bavaria long ago when I gave it up for England. Now I roam where my heart takes me, though should I decide to settle down in my beautiful homeland, I would be more than happy to take up the offer if it still stands.

With regards,

Lady Charlotte Rosenauer
