Tulip Heaven

Inge arrived in the Tulip garden. Her gift for Sybille was ready but it was still hidden at people's eyes. Feeling excited, she waited for her friend to arrive

Sybille came with Inge present firmly wrapped their was nobody else insight or in earshot so she could tell Inge everything. Hello their my dear Inge. Finding a dry space Sybille sat down.

Inge smiled as she saw Sybille. She sat on the grass with her

"Hello, Sybille! What a beautiful place. Oh I see there is something in your arms.."

She giggled looking at her with curiosity

Sybille looked down at the item in her hand. What this! Sybille moved the item with a gleeful smile in front of Inge eye's. This is just a little something I may have purchased would you like to see. With a teasing voice Sybille started to peal gently back it's cover.

Inge looked at the object in her hand. She giggled

"Oh of course I want to see, Sybille! You're making me more curious every second.."

She took a breath wondering what was her gift about

Sybille placed the present on the floor and layer upon layer she unwrapped it before Inge.

I was going to get you something in blue as that colour suits you aswell. Sybille new that Inge would be grateful but it was a milestone in their friendship. They call it the Esmeralda necklace.

Inge looked at the necklace. She opened her mouth by surprise. It was really beautiful

"Oh Sybille! It's..absolutely lovely. I love emeralds. Thank you so much.."

She took the necklace on her hand and she placed a warm kiss on Sybille's cheek

Taking the necklace Sybille placed it around her neck it was the perfect fit and Inge looked stunning with it around her neck Sybille had to blush as it hung just above her certain female aspects . It can be a keepsake for you Inge it looks beautiful.

Inge touched the necklace on her neck with her hand. She loved it. She noticed that the emerald stone fell direcly on her neckline, and she giggled seeing Sybille blusing

"Oh..surely this will get man's attention on me, Sybille! Who knows? Oh but..wait. It's my turn to show you my gift. Hope you like it.."

She took a liitle box from her neckline. She opened it slowly and she showed earrings to her. She held her breath waiting for her reaction

Sybille had to giggle how did she manage to hide them. Looking closely Sybille placed her hand to her mouth they were stunning and they matched her hair colour she could not wait for the King to see them hanging in her ears. Oh I shall treasure these forever my dear friend slight problem Inge you shall have to pierce my ears but thank you my friend. Sybille gave Inge a hug she loved her friend very much.

Inge looked at her in shock. She frowned looking at her ears

"Oh..do you really have not holes in your ears? I can't believe that. And how could I make them? I fear I could hurt you.."

She smiled looking at earrings. She never noticed such detail in her friend

Sybille laughed a slight prick on her ears would never hurt her. No Inge the only possible way you could hurt me was if you betrayed me or told people my most inner secrets but I know that you wouldn't do that. You just heat up a needle by the fire and pierce them. This court no longer felt safe to be in it felt like people were deceiving each other just for a bit of information not caring about their happiness.

Inge looked at her earrings again and she smiled. She shrugged, nodding

"Oh I know that, Sybille. I already did it in my village. But I meant hurting you physically. I would never share your secrets around. As you would never share mines.."

She added with a mysterious tone in her voice

Sybille loved her mysterious tone added at the end it made her eyebrows curl up. She was not surprised to hear that Inge had done this before she just hoped that their wouldn't be to much pain or that her ears grew with green boils. I would like to wear the earrings for my next encounter with the king I don't know when but they will really either make my eye's sparkling or my smile. As for secrets Sybille trusted her with her life that did sound dramatic. The only time I told a secret was when you were withchild and scared that you would be taken from me.

Inge looked at Sybille with a tender, happy glance. She was so sweet when she showed her affection to her

"Oh Sybille! You're so lovely. But no one would take me from you. Oh and trust in me..I am good enough in creating holes in earlobes. The King will find you stunning. I promise you won't feel pain. Are you ready?"

She said with earrings in her hands. She knew perfectly that Sybille was pretending not to be scared but she was. So she smiled

Sybille was nervous her hands were clammy but yet their was a laughter that she could not hold in why was this so exciting all of a sudden. She nodded to Inge and closed her eyes trying to hold still her shoulders rising up again as the laughter continued.

Inge noticed that Sybille was trying to refrain a laughter. She smiled, hoping not to hurt her. She slowly leaned the earring hook on her earlobe. She looked at it carefully, keeping her hand as firm as she could. After taking a breath, she pushed it into her skin, slowly but strongly at the same time. She glanced at Sybille to see her expression

Sybille wanted to cry out in pain this was not enjoyable. Quickly she grabbed hold of Inge arm hard as she let the worst of the pain subside. She didn't open her eye's but she clenched some grass in her hands. Quick do the over one Inge before I get cold feet and that shall be bad otherwise I shall look like a pirate.

Inge realized that Sybille felt pain. Indeed, there was some blood on her earlobe

"Oh Sybille! I'm so sorry. But this is the only way. Next time you won't feel the same pain wearing earrings. I shall help you to wash your earlobes later to avoid infections. Do you want me to put the other earring?"

She asked, rubbing her soulder softly

Sybille geared herself up for the next piercing and took a deep breath. Yes before I change my mind and I walk around the palace like a pirate which shan't be an attractive look. Sybille tried to make a joke about it so that Inge did not feel so bad.

Inge giggled for her humor. She focused her attention on the other earlobe, hoping not to hurt her again. Very slowly she pierced her other earlobe and a few blood came out of it again. She couldn't avoid the pain this time neither. But now it was done. Sybille could finally wear earrings. She cupped her cheek

"Are you alright, Sybille? Now it's over. And you can even remove them. Wait, I brought some water with me.."

She took a bottle from the bag she brought and she opened it, ready to wash carefully her earlobes. She glanced at Sybille with a guilty but proud gaze

Sybille kept her eye's shut she was not so sure about how she was around her own blood best to keep them shut. Oh yes I am not to good with my own blood so my eye's are shut. Sybille sat patiently whilst she felt the cold water on her ears ouch! But her ears would look good for the summer. Inge if their is a summer party then you could wear your new dress it might catch the eye's of a fine gentle fellow.

Inge smiled as she continued to clean Sybille's earlobes after removing earrings

"A summer party? It would be nice. But I don't know if I want to catch someone's eye. Maybe because I already did. I met a man.."

She revealed with a mysterious smile. She took a clean cloth to dry her ears softly. There was no blood on her anymore

Sybille let out a high pitched excited squeal she turned around quickly taking Inge hands within hers. Oh tell me more is he from around here. Oh do I know him. Sybille sat patiently allowing Inge to speak.
