Courtyard

Thomas's carriage arrived and stopped in the courtyard of the scottish castle. It has been a long travel. But Alice was with him. He got out from carriage with her while servants were helping them with lugguages. They waited for someone to receive them

Seeing the carriage approach I came out to greet the future godparents to my sons I frowned as I only saw just one godparent standing their perhaps Royce was right after all. Stepping down the steps I smiled and greeted our guests.

'Welcome to Glasgow Sir Thomas I have no doubt that you shall settle in the weather is just like England. How was your journey.'

Thomas smiled and bowed at them both

Your Highness...Your Grace. We're happy to be here too. We feel very honoured by such invitation. His Majesty brings you his wishes, Your Highness...

He said with his usual humble smile

This was good news to hear about my Brother to me it meant that he still held Thomas in his favour.

'I am glad to hear that my brother is well. Royce has an excellent book collection Sir Thomas. Now that you have arrived shall we go inside one and you can tell us all about my brother.'

I smiled to them placing my arm through my husbands.

Alice smiled and greeted Mary Rose and Royce genially, complacent in her demeanor.

Thomas took Alice's hand in his. He looked at Princess Mary

Oh I shall be happy to have a look at His Grace's books, Your Highness. Again thank you for your kindness...

He smiled and followed them inside Castle

Following Royce I kept looking back to Sir Thomas for general talk.

'Is my brother still in a tremendous happiness Sir Thomas. Perhaps we could have a spot of tea in the drawing room Royce.'

I noticed how quite Alice was she normally wasn't a woman of so few words.

"Tea sounds quite lovely acutally," Alice offered.

I smiled at Alice.

'We could have tea outside if you like Alice. Their is a lovely garden here small but etiquette that is of course if these two gentleman don't feel out of place.'

I smiled my eye's twinkled at having some female companion for the next few days.

"That sounds like a very lovely idea Your Highness. I thank you." Alice gave an appreciative smile and looked to the men, hoping perhaps they would give the ladies a chance to speak alone.

I gladly steered Alice away for some much need female company as much as I loved Royce I needed a what one would call a lady to lady chat.

'Me and Lady Alice are going to mon joli jardin if you men will need us. We shall see you at dinner tonight I think we are having pheasant.'

I smiled happily I had never left Sir Thomas and Royce alone together before.

"Yes, do play nice," Alice teased with a smile.

I gave a little laugh Alice had a very naughty sense of humour and led her to the garden.

Katherine Elizabeth walked the courtyard with two of her lady-in-waiting. The sunlight beamed down onto her red hair.
