King's Throne room

Dilara arrived in Spain and she was led by a guard until Emperor Charles's chambers. She felt very nervous to meet him, because she knew that he wouldn't be happy to see her at court. After she was announced, she took a breath and entered the room lowering her eyes. She curtsied deeply

I see Dilara enter then acting as if I am happy to see her I look at her closely.

"Well you must be Dilara Hatun the concubine who has been in contact with my brother. Well the reports I have heard do not bode well for you Dilara as I have heard you forcibly seduced my brother and I will not stand for this and you are to be punished. I say to her as the guards are called in then as they enter I speak to her again.

"You are to be taken away from here and then you will be stripped of your clothes and chained up tightly where you will be punished for your actions and so you do not know of your location your head will be covered. Do you understand? I say as the guards tightly bind her hands and they prepare a hood to cover her head.

Dilara imeddiately understood that Emperor Charles was not friendly towards her. She gulped, feeling the fear raising for his words

Your Majesty..I know your family rules the world..but your power won't justify such a thing towards me. Your brother acted willingly..we slept together because he wanted me. He has feelings towards me..

She turned her head to see the guards entering the room with a hood to cover her head. As they approached her, she reacted trying to wriggle from them

Stay away from me..don't touch me! Your Majesty..your brother Ferdinand won't be impassive if something bad will happen to me. Probably..I'm already carrying his child..

She added looking directly and proudly into his eyes. She wondered what those men could do against her. She feared of being beated, raped..or something like this

As Dilara tried to wriggle away from my guards I did admire her attempts but she was soon grabbed.

"If you slept with my brother then the consequences for you are severe and now you dare to tell me you may be carrying his child. Do you know what this would mean? I say to her as her hands are tightly bound.

"If word got out that some concubine like yourself was seducing a member of this familyyou could ruin everything. Now you are to be taken from here where you will be stripped and chained up and awaiting what shall be done to you. I say as with two men holding her another guard comes and covers her head.

"Take her to the place and it might be best that we send word to my sister the Queen of France as she should know of what this whore has done.

Dilara tried to wriggle away once more time but she found her hands tied behind her back

I'm not a whore! And if I'm with child..you're going to harm your own nephew, Your Majesty..

She knew that his sisters were sitting on the thrones of half Europe, and that he was ruling the Empire with his brother. Being so powerful, no one would try to rescue a simple slave risking his own life

What will happen to me? Will I be thrown into the dungeons? I warn you, Your Majesty..when your brother will have to know, he will make you pay for this..

She was going to finish her sentence when the guard covered her head with an hood. Suddenly she could see nothing. She was now surrounded by darkness, and she could only feel guards's hands touching her. What they will do to her when she will be stripped as Charles ordered to them?

Let me go! Let me go!

She shouted

I looked at Dilara as her head is covered.

"You are to be taken away now and where you are going you will soon find out but be assured of this yes you are to be stripped of your clothes whore and then it will be determined if you are with child and once learnt then only after the child is born will you be punished. No one will care about you a simple slave girl and your punishment is to hurt for what you have done. I say to her as the guards tighten her bonds.

I then turn to my guard.

"When Ferdinand arrives have him come and see me at once and ensure this whore cannot be heard when we take her away. Write at once to Eleanor in France as their may still be something we can gain from this slave girl. I say as she tries to struggle free but it is impossible.

Dilara tried to wriggle again from the guard but it was unuseful. The hood was covering her head and she couldn't see anything. Also her hands were tied

You shall pay for this..Your Majesty! Don't think that your brother won't find me. And once he will find out what you have done to me..then you will be punished!

She dared to say while guards were bringing her away from the room

I curse you...Emperor Charles! Have you heard me?! I curse you!

She shouted, shaking her head and wondering what will happen to her now

I laughed sarcastically at her as she dared to threaten me.

"Take her away and strip her ready for her punishment oh and when my brother arrives I will speak to him. Make sure you do not remove the hood until I say so and if she calls out again gag her. I say as the guards drag Dilara from the room and she is taken to the dungeon where she is chained hanging from the ceiling with her arms above her head still with hood on.

Later the physician arrived to examine her to see if she was with child but all Dilara could hear was footsteps.

I arrived back in Spain after my long journey from Bavaria and I was hoping to meet my beloved Dilara but as I arrive I do not see her there but only see my brother. I spoke with him outside the dungeon door where not to my knowing Dilara was chained up and gagged so she could not scream out.

I am told by my brother that she had not arrived here yet that her ship was lost somewhere in the sea.
