It felt strange coming back to France with a family of my own. Ideally, I would've left my son's back home in Scotland, but this was also a chance for Henry to meet his nephews.I felt uneasy in Royce coming here with me. He was not English rather he was the best friend of my brother's enemy and our cousin James Stuart. My brother believed that Scotland should be rightfully his. For now he seemed content with the Marquess of Pembroke Anne Boleyn. As my luggage was being unpacked by my trusted lady in waiting Ursula Middleson. I started to take off my traveling garments warming my hands by the fire.

Royce reached Mary at fireplace and sat at her side. He smiled, admiring fire's refection on her face. James and Oliver were sleeping pacefully and everything was silent around them
You look beautiful even if you're tired, my love. But I guess you're happy being here with your own family. Our children will meet their uncle, and we'll take part to a big event for english royal family. I'm so happy sharing this with you..

I chuckled as my husband Royce whispered to me. After so long of being together, he still had a way of making me feel so special and adored. In time I hoped that I would be able to give him the daughter he so desired. For now I was content with Oliver and James.

Unlike England, France was still receiving some of its warmer winter muffs. So it was a great opportunity to explore before the ice came.

We may do whatever you wish, my love. For istance..we could start unpacking. Or simply having a stroll in the garden, like old times..
He placed a soft kiss on her neck. Then he took a breath and kept on staring at fireplace. It was so romantic staying there surrended by warmth of fire
You know..I was thinking that Christmas is coming, darling. We should start thinking about some gifts for Oliver and James. What do you suggest?
