"Charles joined the Great Hall with Catherine at his side. It was Christmas time and they were finally back to England. The new year was coming, and he wondered what it would bring to them. He bowed in front of the King and Lady Anne and reached his table with Catherine, hoping not to meet Thomas Boleyn again.."

Henry was sitting at his table with Anne while people started to join the Hall. There was music and plently of wine and food everywhere. He smiled at Charles and his wife as he bowed to him

Thomas was announced with his wife Alice. He walked until the throne's holding her hand. Then he bowed deeply in front of Henry and Lady Anne

Your Majesty, Lady Boleyn..

He glanced quickly at Alice before raising his glance towards them again

PostSubject: Re: Christmas / New Year Celebrations for 1533   Christmas / New Year Celebrations for 1533 I_icon_minitimeThu Dec 24, 2015 2:11 pm

I entered quietly and without ceremony, I found myself more relaxed when I avoided the announcements and simpering courtiers falling over themselves to bow and scrape afterwards. Dressed in a simple but festive dress, my golden hair tumbles down and over my shoulders much to the delight of my daughter. Lizzie is sat on my hip, her fingers fiddling with strands of my blonde locks as she giggles in delight: her eyes drawn to the decorations and dancing that fill the great hall. Gliding towards the top table, I gracefully stroll and take in the sights myself with as much glee as my daughter. Reaching the table reversed for Henry and the Lady Anne, I wait behind the More's to speak with my beloved brother and the Lady Anne. After wishing them well for Christmas and the new year, I would take my place in the seats reserved for the royal family. I hoped that my sister and her family would join us at Whitehall for the festive season, otherwise I would be the only member of the house of Tudor present besides his Majesty. Readjusting Lizzie, I lift her up my hip for both our comfort and watch the revellers laugh and dance as we wait. I always loved Christmas: it was one of the only times my father had received me at court. I loved seeing my brother and sisters, Charles and all of Henry's friends. We would play together, dance together and have the most wonderful time. It would be a whirl of fun and then end so quickly: then I was returned to Aunt Catherine or the sisters at Poissy... Much to my sadness. Laughing as my daughter giggles away, I put thoughts of Christmas' past away and enjoy the one I was living now: relieved that I would be returning to my rooms in the palace and not my room in the French nunnery when Christmas ended.

Margaret entered in the Hall with Anthony. She looked around to admire Christmas decorations. She was wearing a light pink dress and she felt very excited to be there. Now she was part of courtlife and she wanted to enjoy this moment with her husband. Walking along the all, she looked for her friend Elizabeth but she couldn't see her

Agostino entered the Hall with Muriel at his side. Now that the King gave his permission, they were officially engaged, and then they were free to join public events together. He smiled kindly at other courties and sat with Muriel at a table full of food and wine

Anne wore her red gown for Christmas. Now she was a marquise and next year, she will celebrate the Christmas as a queen.
She looked at Charles and his wife Catherine. She said nothing but she smiled. It was a fake smile. She just smiled and bowed.
After Charles and his wife, Thomas and his wife entered the hall. Anne rolled her eyes. The other unlovely couple, she thought. She held Henry's hand tightly and looked at Thomas's eyes. It was a glory glance. She shook her head to greet.

Katherine Elizabeth walked into the great hall with her Christmas dress on. She curtsy to the lords and ladies as she walked passed them.

Niklaus walked into Hall holding Elizabeth's hand. He bowed with his head as he met Lady Anne's glance. Everyone were chatting and drinking. He looked at Elizabeth and leaded her until their table. A servant offered them some wine and he took two glasses. He tasted it deeply before kissing Elizabeth's hand

I circulate the room, smiling and speaking the assembled courtiers. I had chosen not to wait in line for an audience, I would speak to my brother and the Lady Anne later on: hopefully allowing them some time to enjoy their Christmas. Stopping and greeting guests, I search the room for familiar faces and old friends as Lizzie continues to play with pieces of my hair. Taking a cup of wine, I sip the burgundy liquid and let the taste and warmth fill my body as I make my way around the great hall.

Young Catherine was dressed in a gown that her Aunty had made especially for her. Apart from Aunty Anne most of her family was trying to send her away from court because of the mistakes that her mother made. It was truly annoying. Catherine was the youngest lady in waiting in the Tudor court in history! When Anne would be Queen Catherine would then move into her household a prospect that thrilled her immensely. Finding a seat Catherine waved to her Aunty from her chair before a spiced pear was placed on her plate.

Just like in the fairy tales that Catherine used to have read to her. A beautiful lady with long cascading blonde hair walked around the hall with a child. This lady was regal it showed in how she held her head up high with a dainty yet stunning smile.

Henry was holding Anne's hand. He nodded at Lady Catherine and smiled at his daughter Katherine. He noticed that Anne rolled her eyes as she saw Thomas. But he smiled kindly at him and just nodded simply at his greet. The he took a goblet of wine and kept on watching people dancing

Sophie was glad to see that Klaus was back from the travels in France. They had never gotten round to talking more thoroughly about her travels to the English court and just whom she was working for. Being a lady in waiting was something of an eye opener for Sophie never before had she felt like a nobody. There was nothing more degrading than being asked to massage somebody's feet!
Good evening Niklaus may I continue our conversation if your Lord and Lady does not mind.

Niklaus turned immediately his head as he heard a familiar voice behind him. He smiled as he recognized Sophie and bowed kindly before her "My lady Sophie..how nice to see you here. Of course we can. May I introduce you my wife, Lady Elizabeth Seymour?" He said glancing at Elizabeth. He was surprised to see Sophie there, but he was also curious to know what she was going to say
