Christmas - New Year Party

"Charles joined the Party alone, hoping his wife Catherine would follow him later, maybe with their son Henry. Some people were already there. And he took a glass of wine waiting fromm the King to arrive"

I was informed of a party that was happening and i came and joined seeing very few there. I saw lord Brandon standing there and i approached and spoke to him whilst getting some wine.

"Good day Charles i trust you are well and is Catherine not with you today my lord?

"Charles bowed with his head as he saw Norfolk approaching him"

My Lord...Merry Christmas. I trust my wife will join me later. Rather...what about you? I guess you're happy for your niece being finally Queen of England..

"He added with a cheeky smile"

Before leaving England, Richard decided to join Christmas Party and see how this event was important for english people, in spite of the break with the Church of Rome. A guard announced him, and walked into the Hall until he reached his seat at Royals guests's table

Geoffrey had to take part at the new party. He kept on preparing tables with food and wine, while thinking at Cromwell's offer and hoping to meet his Kate soon. He couldn't wait to say to his beloved that now he could earn much more, and having the wedding that Kate always dremt and deserved

I nod towards Lord Brandon.

"It is indeed nice to finally see her crowned queen i am proud of her. I have many family things to deal with myself too.

I trust all is well with your family Charles?

I entered the great hall and went over to the tables where the drinks were and saw Geoffrey sorting them all before i met and stood with lord Brandon.

"Good day Master Brandon i trust you are well?

Margaret joined the Party holding her little boy Henry in her arms. She looked smiling and happy. Wearing a large dress that she used during pregnancy, she reached her table while a servant girl offered her help to lay the baby in a little baby cot put upon a chair. She loved Christmas time and waited for her husband to reach her, in order to share festivities together with their little creature

Inge came in the Hall to join Christmas Party. Leo was with her, as always. She noticed the King was there, and her King, Richard of Bavaria, was there too. She curtsied deeply before them, before being escorted by a servant to a large table. She knew very few people at english court. But she noticed that other ladies were there with their babies. So she smiled and oredered someting to eat for Leo and herself

I see more guests arrive including his Grace and as he passed i bow to him.

Good day your Grace"

I see his Grace arrive at the party and i greet him as he arrives.

"Welcome your Grace I must say you look most stunning tonight.

Will her Grace be joining you soon?

I had heard that there was a Christmas feast in the great hall and i travelled there with my ladies as i was still in England and i entered not knowing many people i only recognised Lord Brandon from before.

I see Lord Brandon bow his head to me and i went over towards him as he was only man i seemed to know.
"Hello my Lord Brandon it is nice to see you here again. Are we not being joined by your wife today?

I see Charles bow to a young lady i had not seen before and i became curious.

I turn and speak to him.

"Are you going to introduce me to that lady you nodded at Charles?"

"While the young Princess was reaching them, Charles nodded and looked at Norfolk"

Of course. My lord, she is Princess Madeline Valois, King Francis's daughter. My Lady...Henry Howard, third Duke of Norfolk. My wife will reach me later..

"He said in reply at her question"

I stand next to Charles.

"Honoured to meet you my lord Norfolk and Charles i do hope i am not interrupting your conversation Lord Brandon

I then look at Brandon.

"Do you know when my niece the queen is to arrive

I don't know, my lord. But I'm sure that she will reach the King soon. I suppose that her ladies are helping her to get dressed...
