I step into his study and look around. " do you have any whisky instead my Lord"
I take a seat and wonder why I was here.
"I all well thank you Lord Norfolk, and thank you for inviting me but why do you need to see me."

I do have whisky my lady.

I sit down opposite her and I say.

" I was wondering if you would be interested in being my mistress my lady.

Shocked by his proposal I said " My lord I am flattered by your proposal but I am already promised to another, and my Mistress the Kings Sister needs me in Scotland so I can not be your mistress."

My life was being by Mary's side I did not have time to find love, but someone else already had it and It had been a while since he last spoke to me.
"I am sorry If I has wasted your time my lord, I shall now go as I leave for Scotland tonight."

I rise to feet and slowly push the chair back and curtsey to Lord Norfolk.

My lady. I shall come with you to Scotland I would like to speak with her majesty.

I shall prepare a coach for us.

" As you please my lord but I am sure her Majesty will need some notice of your arrival as you know you can not just enter without her permission. "

"Very well you go on ahead and inform her majesty I wish to speak with her and when she is ready message me.to let me know.

I bow to his Grace and quickly walk out of the study to my awaiting Carriage to take me back to Scotland but before I go I will go to see an old friend of mine.

*I came out from the shadows* Thomas I can not believe what I heard from you. You asked Ursula to be your mistress. Again you wish to have a mistress. Am I not enough for you that you wish to have another. My love for you is not enough for you. Alright go and have your precious mistress if not her another. *tears run down my face but I walked away calmly.*

Hush my dear I say to her.

Once Ursula left the room I confront her.

"Look my dear I just told her that so I could get to see the Scottish Queen and it was the only way.

I love you more than anything you know that.

I give her a kiss and take her to the room upstairs.

" Elizabeth I did it to get to see the Scottish Queen in the hope if arranging a marriage for our daughter Jenny. Please come with me to Scotland we can do this together.

I kiss her again. "You mean everything to me".

Thomas you do not have to ask her to be a mistress to see the queen there. If you love me why would you ask Ursula to be your mistress. Had she said yes what would you have done and if I would not have been here. I love you, I love so much why do you insist on hurting me by having a mistress. Do I not give you enough love, passion, honesty. I don't want to share you with anyone. If you love me remember that you come home to me and look me in the eye and see the woman you are with.

I get out a box and reveal a beautiful red dress covered with some great patterns and also in the box were some great jewels as well.

"For you my dear wife I give you this as a symbol of my love for you.

"I have not got them out since my first wife died.
They belonged to her you know and now I give them to you my love".

You promise me. Yes I would love to come with you to Scotland. It is beautiful there and we can we see what is there to be together. *Thomas should me a box and should me a beautiful dress with jewels* Ohh Thomas this is beautiful. I love it my love.
