Niklaus smiled at her taking Esther's little hand in his. She was so delicate and smooth "Esther will receive all our love and protection, my love. She will be loved by both her parents. But I don't want you to be worried because of me, love. I'm fine. And I'm happy because of my new life with you and our daughter.." He smiled looking at her lively, beautiful eyes. For a moment he thought at their first meeting, when he tried to reject her to protect her from his past

You are right their but it's not only fathers... it's mother too! Some people put their children in a chest of drawers when they are born. They pull the draw out from the chest and make it a cradle for their babes. It was always the needed who silenced their voices. When Esther was older I would take her on a round of charity giving just like our mother did.

Niklaus looked at little Esther and smiled tenderly "A cradle for our cute princess..such a good idea. She deserves the best one, my love. What if..I tried to build it? Let's see if she likes it.." He looked at Elizabeth, shrugging and chuckling for his proposal. He never build a cradle before. But for his daughter he would have tried it gladly

That is a lovely idea for Esther she needs a cot fit for a queen not a little princess. I would always encourage craftship in all areas of Klaus' life. I felt that it was important to encourage this fatherly side that was now coming out in him.

Niklaus touched Esther's little hand and smiled "I would do anything for her. And for you. Since I married, I'm totally aware about what family means, Elizabeth. And..who knows? We will give her a brother or a sister soon.." He glanced at his daughter and leaned on Elizabeth to kiss her lips. He really wanted other children from her

Then I very much looked forward to seeing what your hands make for our daughter. Perhaps you could paint little drawings on the side of the cot for her. It was all very exciting, starting this new chapter both of them figuring out how to cope with being parents. If they had their own land I would of loved to have Klaus design the rooms as he had a keen eye for art. I hope that you shall teach Esther all the good things about Russia and what a beautiful country it is.

Niklaus rubbed softly Elizabeth's cheek with his hand and smiled "Of course. She has russian blood in her veins. I'll teach her everything about her origins. Including russian language. So she will be the most beautiful and learned young lady of England, one day.." He pressed jokingly Esther's little foot against his lips and kissed it smiling. Then he looked at Elizabeth "You have no answered my question, love. What do you think about..another little Petrovin running around?" He said holding softly her chin

In the future I can see us having children but for now I want to see little Esther grow up. For now I just wanted to have little Esther. I don't think I could handle having all my children at once like my mother did.

Niklaus smiled and nodded hearing her words. He knew that children were not toys, but human beings who need love "Of course..I totally agree, my love. Sorry for my impatience, but I just want to have a large family with you. You're the woman of my life.." He placed a soft caress on her cheek "But I'll respect your wish, Elizabeth. Other children will arrive when you'll be ready for that.." He was a bit surprised, being Seymour family so large and having so many siblings. But Elizabeth was precious for him. And he would never force her doing something against her will

It is hard work to have child after child I do not know how people do it. I closed my eyes as he kissed my cheek tenderly. It was always important in relationships to meet each other halfway more children would follow just not straight away. To me it would be nice to get to know our children before having to ship them off to a governess. I would like to discover the personality of little Esther and all our future children.

Niklaus couldn't avoid to smile looking at little Esther smiling and moving her little hands and feet "I guess she will be exactly like you, Elizabeth. Proud, stubborn..and very beautiful. I don't mind having a governess to take care of her. But she needs us at her side most.." He caressed her little head softly "Your mother had many children, I know. But what about you? I mean..how many siblings for our beloved princess?" He asked with a joyful and tender smile. He thought he would have never felt tenderness in his life, until Esther came to world
