Mary smiled at him, "No your majesty. You are quite charming, I can see why my cousin loves you so and I do not believe any of the rumors about you or about Francis. You have both proven them wrong." She stood up and curtsied to him before she headed to the door.

He asked stepping towards her

Henry took a breath. He knew that Anne had her spies in court. He kept on caressing the edge of his goblet with his finger and smiled

I know. Lady Margery is at Anne's service since a while. But she can't harm you in any way, Faith. Don't worry..

He said still keeping his smile

Henry put down his goblet and stood up. As he saw her kneeling, he gently touched her chin inviting her to stand up

My Lady Faith...you feelings flatter me a lot. But they are also..very dangerous. Do you know that?

He asked trying to catch her eyes

Fire can burn you, my lady. You're very beautiful woman. You're seductive and attractive. But..this is not the right moment for me to burn in such passions. So don't tempt me..

He whispered meaningfully. He was in love with Anne. And she was Charles's half sister. He had to be careful. In order not to ruin his efforts to win his battle against the Pope
