King's Reception Room

Geoffrey entered in the room and bowed deeply

Their Eminences, Cardinals Thomas Wolsey and Lorenzo Campeggio!

He shouted. Then he stepped back, letting the Cardinals coming inside

Wolsey entered and held untill Campeggio was next to him. In a glance he saw the king and the expression on his face made him shiver. He noticed all his enemies were here to gloat and enjoy their victory and he sank to his knees, together with Campeggio who sank with difficulty. Both men bowed their heads and waited anxiously.

Campeggio was very old.He was walking with his stick.He entered the room with Wolsey slowly and holding onto his cane and bowed in front of the King

Anne, her father, and Brandon were watching them in horror.

Once the Cardinals came inside, Geoffrey bowed deeply and left the Room

Wolsey let Henry bring him to the window, pleasantly surprised but also alert.
He glanced at his enemies and noticed their astonishment and bewilderment, and he basked in the warm attention of the king, even though he suspected it to be temporary. Perhaps he still had a chance.

'Your Majesty, when was I ever sick enough not to serve you?' he replied softly.

While Henry spoke about people telling him lies Wolsey turned around for a moment and glanced at the Boleyns and Brandon, but when he turned back to say something Henry was speaking again, about their shared past.

He was deeply moved by Henry's words and he didn't care who saw it.
'And there is still so much to do...' he spoke with choked voice.

Wolsey was overwhelmed by the loving treatment of the king and could not speak of emotion, so he just rested his forehead against Henry's and closed his eyes in gratitude and relief.

Anne was still looking at Wolsey when her father whispers something to her ear

Wolsey nodded in affection and grattitude, but when Henry walked away he saw Boleyn staring at him with malicious eyes, before he bowed and whispered in his daughter's ear. Anne looked up and stared straight at him across the room. She nodded slowly and Wolsey's blood froze in his veins, he grabbed the windowsill and gasped.
It took him some moments to hold his head high again and turn around. Without paying attention to them he helped Campeggio rise again, they bowed deeply before Henry and left the room.

Anne noticed that Wolsey was praying and she turned to Henry

"My love? What's happening?"

"Charles noticed that Anne approached the King and started talking with him privately. Then he bowed and left the room"

Your Majesty...lady Anne...

Charles passed him and Norfolk took his arm, staring at him and whispering angrily.
What was that? Did you know he would treat him that kind? What is he doing, Charles?!

Still whispering he followed Charles out of the room.

"Charles was leaving Room when he felt someone grabbing his arm. He turned his head and saw Norfolk, staring at him. He took a breath and shook slowly his head"

I don't know...really. But if the King is planning something, I'll discover it very soon. My lord...

"He answered. Then bowed with his head and kept on walking along corridor"

Anne seemed thoughtful.She was looking at Henry carefully
