Norfolk tried to keep calm while listening to the king´s anger, his eyes lowered, but when Henry started to scream at Charles and talked about the Cardinal, praising his qualities he exchanged glances with Brandon and cleared his throat.
He looked directly at Henry and spoke measured.

After Henry left, all men remained perplexed. They knew the king was bad tempered lately, but this was seriously.
Norfolk didn't look at Brandon but hissed at him between his teeth.

As the king enter I bow to him i have received him and he is locked up, do excuse me for coming but there was a matter what are his crimes and he tried to take his own life the tower physician is currently treating him as I look at the king

I look at him worried in my eyes and fear yes as soon as it had happen my guards called me straight in and it was me who sent for the physician the knife was not sharpe for him to do succeed he is in the most terrible state, I will bear you from the details. as I swallow hard feeling nervous once I return I will send a letter of his health. I look around nervously Majesty, I will question him on the charges it is treason and I will get a full confession from him

I thought that maybe, your daughters..especially Jane and Dorothy, who are closest to Anne, could teach good manners to other ladies..
