Emilie listen attentively to Ursula and nodd.

Indeed, it's for a big part because of Katerine hadn't give him the male hair he awaite and being now too old while lady Anne is young and strong. But personally, I think it's also because he don't love Katerine anymore, not the way a husband love his wife, while he really love Anne Boleyn.

She reflect.

And it's true, Anne is to become our queen, before long, but very soon, he can't marry her before to be ride of his marriage with Katerine and it may take a long time still. But in reality, in his eyes, his marriage to Katerine is yet over and Anne Boleyn yet his queen and she is trying to take her future place, here is the signification of her wearing a purple dress today.

She smile.

Anyway, I hope that your work of lady in waiting please you ?

She turn to glance at her daughter and see her joining them, the air curious, she put a tender hand behind her head.

By the way, here is my daughter, Olympe.

Emilie nodd after Ursula's words and smile with a air a bit satisified in thinking how the pope is stupid to don't allow this annulement and how much he is going to lost since the king is getting tired from negociating and don't obtain anything.

For his own lost, because he don't let to the king another choice than to end by breaking with him and get his annulment by himself and it's surely what will happen.

Emilie chuckle a bit bitterly as she guess very well why Katerine have refuse, can see clearly in the reasons of her behaviour.

Because she refuse to lost, she will never negociate nor give in in anything, no matter how much her obstination will cost to her and her daughter in the future. You know she isn't the angel that people believe that she is, she is a woman of power, overproud and strong , she think and act as the princess of Spain that is born above all and defend her birth country's interest. She is fully conscious of her popularity and influence and I fear that she will use it for continue hanging on her marriage and crown, even after the annulement will be declared and the king remarried to Anne, until her last breath.

She reflect and add.

I believe that this fight for keep her position have become all her life, the sens of her life and that she probably wouldn't know what to do afterward if she did stop to fight, so she surely will never give up and leave for join a covent, that though would be the better solution for her, would be giving up. And with this behaviour, she risk to ruin her future and her daughter's future.

She shake her head, annoyed by Katerine's behaviour while feeling relieved to has been able to tell out loudly about it.
She is confused in hearing Ursula's last sentence, don't seeing what she is talking about at all.

I am sorry, I hadn't understand what you told. Of which story are you talking about ?

She notice that she hadn't pay attention to Olympe's presence.

I don't think that was wise to do, dear niece, even though I agree with you. Don't make more enemies as necessary... I think the king won't like it. He looked at her with concern though he still smiled.

Norfolk stared at Anne, impressed by her changed, more bold attitude.

Yes, dear niece, show them your elegance, your wit, your royal capacities and... your beauty! He tapped her arm, smiling appreciatively. He saw everyone staring at her, so he took her hand and kissed it in a humble way, almost kneeling before her.

Anne.... no one can neglect you, you behave like a Queen and soon you will be Queen! he told her happily.

I walked into the Great Hall, and took a goblet of wine from a passing servant. As I drank, I noticed the mistress of my cousin; lady Boleyn. She was talking among some people. I observed her wondering what Henry saw in a woman who was so unworthy. Although, I had never met her before so I had no say in the matter. Perhaps she was worthy.

Elizabeth swung her hips back, and forth. How often was she at court? Quite often! And, sometimes being here was boring.....to her nothing exciting ever happened. And, she needed some excitement in her life. Especially, since she was married to him. However, Elizabeth was happy being away from Thomas for so long.....they did not have to see each other.....which meant no arguing. Though, here she was at court....looking for him. Elizabeth stopped, and looked around. Maybe that man was here. "Thomas where are you," she growled. Elizabeth tapped her foot, and folded her arms around her large chest, and waited for her husband.

Norfolk still smiled at Anne as his attention was caught to the door. His wife entered with great pomp and he sighed inaudible. Please, don´t let her cause a scene about Anne´s dress! As her eyes searched the crowd, he kissed Anne´s hand.

Anne, excuse me for a moment... he said softly and made his way to Elizabeth. He noticed she looked beautiful but the grim look on her face did not disappear during her absence from court.
Finally he stood next to her and smiled faintly, while he took her hand to kiss it.

Elizabeth! You came back to court! So.... good to see you, my dear. How are you? he spoke reluctantly.

Oh, she had to put on a fake smile. A fake, but loving smile. All of this was just for him......only in public, though. He knew exactly how she felt. And, it was qute obvious he knew how she felt, too. But, Elizabeth's eyes moved toward her niece Anne, and she bowed her head. Of course, the girl wouldn't notice her. And, she was glad. It was better that way. She never liked the girl. But, she then focused on her husband, and eyes her husband as he is done kissing her hand, and she quickly curtsied to her husband, and pursed her lips. "I am perfectly well, my love. I am just.....so happy to see you," she said, as she lied through her teeth. She was not happy! Not happy at all......she knew that whore of his was here. She just knew it! "The children were eager for me to come to court...they wanted their mother near," she said, looking at him. Oh, she wanted to glare at him......but she was not going to start anything.....at least not in the public eye. She was better than that.

He saw the changing look in her eyes and sighed in relief as she stayed calm and even smiled at him - a fake smile, he could tell, but nevertheless, a smile. He smiled too and nodded as she curtsied to him.
I am glad you are well, my dearest. I hope everything is well at our estate, too. I receive positive reports from the caretaker.
He grinned at himself, glad they were in public and he tapped her arm friendly.
the children are just fine, my dear, they take their classes seriously, though I imagine they missed you indeed. Especially little Mary asks often about you, you should not let them without their mother for so long, they need you! he said reproaching though he kept smiling at her. He knew very well why she was not at court for a long while but in his view she should look after their three little children anyway.

Elizabeth wanted to smack him. How dare he! She was always there for their children. Unlike, most women at court......she was always hands on with her family. But, she would not say anything. She would stay silent. Elizabeth ran her fingers across her curvy hips, and looked around the room. Then her eyes landed on her husband, and said," I know. I know, husband."

He grinned at himself, he knew very well she cared about her children but he felt trapped, nothing went well at all and now she had come here to make things even worse. He followed her gaze around the room and decided to tease her a little more, since she reacted so calmly.
Don't you think my niece looks beautiful, tonight? he asked her, staring at her with his arms folded on his chest.
