Alfonsina Garcia's Bedroom

She laughed too.

"I feel the same for you dear brother."

He moved to face her and rubbed her chin,"Good."

She carried her hands to his hair. Then her hands started to move inside his dark curly hair.

"I have always thought that your hair has lots of secrets."

She smiled to him softly.

He chuckled,"My hair - perhaps I should cut it then...?"

She shook her head.

"Absolutely no!"

She kissed his cheek softly.

"I love everything about my brother."

He smiled and then grew serious, glancing down,"Perhaps...you should not."

He moved and kneeled in front of her.

She held his chin and raised his head.

"Why not?"

He smirked,"Some things are better left unsaid."

She smiled widely.

"As my brother says so."

He nodded and tapped her nose,"I had...better get to bed...I'll see you tomorrow."

She smiled and kissed his cheek again.

"I'll see you tomorrow. Good night."

Then she added.

"I am very much happy to see you again."

He grinned and kissed her cheek,"Good night, dear sis."

He then left the room.

Cesare knocked on Alfonsina's door,"Sis..."

While she was choosing a dress someone knocked the door. It was a familiar voice. Alfonsina smiled because it was Cesare.

"Come in brother.."

She was in her night dress but i didnt matter. The last time Cesare came to this room Alfonsina was naked. She giggled after she had thought this.

Cesare came into the room quickly. The letter about Alfonsina's suitor soon landed on her bed as he discarded it like dirt.

"As requested,"he said and pointed to the letter.

She was shocked and didnt understand what was happening.

"You read it."

"Prince,"he began,"Alfonso of Aragorn."

He gestured to the letter,"It's from father. He thinks this would be,"he paused, glanced at the parchment and said in his father's voice,"An ideal match."

She smiled.

"An ideal match? This is really assertive."

Then she became serious again.

"Is that all? Continue please brother.."

He shrugged with a sigh and quickly scanned the letter,"Nothing else. You've to let him know if you...are interested."

She looked at him with curious eyes.

"Should i approve brother? "What do you know about them?"

He sat down on the edge of her bed and replied quietly,"He is young, wealthy - has title..."

She sat down near him.

"Okay then.. I'll let his father know."

Then she sighed because it had been a long time since they were alone in this room. Alfonsina thought if he was ever thinking about that day.

"Let him know what, sis?"he asked and fumbled with his jerkin.

She turned herself towards him.

"That i"ll invite them here to meet and i will let him know about my decision face to face. You must be there too."

Cesare nodded and clasped his hands, looking at the floor. He was quiet. He produced a small portrait, the size of a coin,"Your suitor,"he said.

It was a simple but skilfully painted thing, sent with the letter.
